Bio and Links
Bio Photo "Grandchildren are the dots that connect the lines from generation to generation." Lois Wyse (20th century)

"Life is the flash of a firefly in the night. It is the breath of a buffalo in the wintertime. It is the little shadow which runs across the grass and loses itself in the sunset. What you leave behind is not what is engraved in stone monuments, but what is woven into the lives of others." S Pierce in memorial of "Woody" and Wilda Woodward.

I am a grandmother picking up the genealogy work started by my father, mother and uncle. Now, I am combining and elaborating on this work, linking my family genealogy (ancestors and descendents) and adding memorials for family and friends.

I assisted with the Centennial Chapter NSDAR project of photographing the headstones in Weld County Colorado.

If you have family whose memorials I manage, I will be glad to transfer these to you. If you want to copy any of the photos I have posted, feel free to as long is it is not used for commercial purposes.

"Upon my death I authorize any of my memorials to be transferred to any FAG contributor as they are requested."

"If ever there is tomorrow when we're not together... there is something you must always remember. you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. but the most important thing is, even if we're apart... I'll always be with you."

Thank you for the additional information for Marjorie, it has been uploaded. If you are a family member or a close friend of Marjorie, I would be more then happy to "Transfer" the record to you. I did remove the names of the children and just left the first letter due to privacy concerns. Have a nice day.

RE: Walter Foss # 82194280
Walter Foss Jr. is my 5th great grandfather.

This is what I received from a curator who is doing the Foss line:
"Walter, b. 1708, had only one wife and she was Sarah Babb. They were married in Greenland, NH, 13 Sept 1726 when he was 18 and she only 15. Walter didn't die in 1791 -- that was his oldest son Walter Jr. (1727-1791). Walter Sr. died in Saco on 4 July 1784, age 76. Also, Sarah (Babb) Foss didn't die in 1755; rather, she died in Saco on 14 April 1776."

I believe You should have Walter Foss Sr, and not Jr.

Also, can you make a scan or photograph of the bible so there some validation that your date is correct, and also it would be nice to add to our family tree. :)

RE: George Stearly
Okay, I've transferred photo and flowers (although my photo doesn't add much except maybe true color of stone). You may now delete your duplicate memorial (only creator may delete).

Photo in old Bible
I recently received an old Bible from a niece. It was originally presented to Barbara Rae Fritz by the Second Presbyterian Sunday School, Fort Collins, Colorado on 5 Jun 1938. There is a photo of a young woman in it which I believe is Barbara. I added it to Find A Grave Memorial# 64940234.
By your profile and memorials, you seem to be the family genealogist and her cousin. If it is not her let me know and I will remove it. If a family member would like to have this Bible, I can send it to them.

You have Walter's grandparents as his parents. His parents are Walter Sr. 98972740, and Sarah Babb 127180285.

triplicate - George Stearly
re: George Stierly/Stearly, born 1849 in Wurtemburg Germany to Barbara Kraft. There appear to be THREE memorials of the same grave in Fort Collins CO.

A) 43608189, created 2009 by "Derald Johnson" 46855913. Headstone, years from headstone, and nothing else.

B) 102167496, created 2012 by "Judson Rhoads" 47089591. Headstone, headstone context(!), portrait(!), full dates for birth and death.

C) 174111247, created 2016 by "KET" 47292223. Headstone (detached?), birth/death dates and places(!), spouse link(!), family bio(!), two flowers(!).

Usually I prefer to keep the oldest, but this time I would rather roll everything into C to keep its flowers, spouse, and family background. Then again, I'm not the creator of any of them.

I'm posting this same message to all three of you. Please work it out amongst yourselves.

George Stirle (Stearly, Stearley)
Grandview records for George read Stearly and for Sarah read Stearley. Headstones read Stearly.

Harry Kern
Sadly, I do not have any other info on Mr. Kerns. While working this cemetery, I discovered several of the "Sacramento County Coroner" cremains markers. Turns out that Camellia has had the contract from the county for a couple of decades (possibly even going back to 1968) to bury the indigent. The information I have is straight from the burial permit the cemetery needs to file with the state. The cremains are placed individually in a casket, labeled and mapped, before being buried. I felt this was a "black hole" for people looking for family members and want to document and honor these people.
I'm sorry I don't have further information for Mr. Kern.

RE: Samuel Coble
I'm glad I could help. I'm trying to get the other Cobles at Morris Hill in Boise updated as I can. It will take me some time since I work full time.
