Bio Photo "Grandchildren are the dots that connect the lines from generation to generation." Lois Wyse (20th century)

"Life is the flash of a firefly in the night. It is the breath of a buffalo in the wintertime. It is the little shadow which runs across the grass and loses itself in the sunset. What you leave behind is not what is engraved in stone monuments, but what is woven into the lives of others." S Pierce in memorial of "Woody" and Wilda Woodward.

I am a grandmother picking up the genealogy work started by my father, mother and uncle. Now, I am combining and elaborating on this work, linking my family genealogy (ancestors and descendents) and adding memorials for family and friends.

If you have family whose memorials I manage, I will be glad to transfer these to you.

If you want to copy any of the photos I have posted, feel free to as long is it is not used for commercial purposes.

I assisted with the Centennial Chapter NSDAR project of photographing the headstones in Weld County Colorado.

"Upon my death I authorize any of my memorials to be transferred to any FAG contributor as they are requested."

"If ever there is tomorrow when we're not together... there is something you must always remember. you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. but the most important thing is, even if we're apart... i'll always be with you."

RE: Minnie Gezon Roseman
Hello! I didn't know there was another Roseman son/brother. Since your email I've done a little more research and found the 1920 U.S. Census for Bertrand Harvey Roseman, 2nd wife Martha and sons Oliver J., Bert G. & Charles M. (Oliver J. was born about 1909.) I also found another member who had the actual obit for father Bertrand online -- he had 4 sons: James (whom I must believe is the elder Oliver J.) of Evanston, IL., Charles of Detroit, and Bert & Rex of Grand Rapids. Unfortunately this member hadn't done any research on the sons. I am having trouble finding more info for James, but I will continue to try . . .

June and my mother were best friends from grade school till June's death, when I was contacted by Greg....I was shocked, never knew anything about June having children. I don't even know if my mother knew.

Hi, I assume it is the same person. My thought was that they bought the grave marker at Joplin and then later divorced maybe and he went back home to Georgia and that's why he is buried there. Or since Cecil died years before him he moved back to GA sometime after her death and ended up being buried there. I have a draft card and a SS death index record on him. His mother was Emma Jane Meeks and in 1910 they were in Coffee County, GA. Cecil Peugh was my 4th cousin. Karen

RE: John Harlin
We had a recent major vandal attack on our oldest cemetery and I had to walk around many damaged headstones. I took many photos of the damage and contacted the original poster of them. It was a blessing that most had been posted on Find A Grave before the damage. Most have been repaired or patched but the damage is still quite prominent. I have photographed many funeral home metal plates that disappear after a few years.

You are welcome to post the photo anytime you feel comfortable doing so.

Not related at all, just hunting someone else with the same last name.
Thank you for the offer, but you keep it.
