"Grandchildren are the dots that connect the lines from generation to generation." Lois Wyse (20th century)|
"Life is the flash of a firefly in the night. It is the breath of a buffalo in the wintertime. It is the little shadow which runs across the grass and loses itself in the sunset. What you leave behind is not what is engraved in stone monuments, but what is woven into the lives of others." S Pierce in memorial of "Woody" and Wilda Woodward.
I am a grandmother picking up the genealogy work started by my father, mother and uncle. As a member of DAR, I helped with the Centennial Chaper NSDAR project of photographing all the headstones in Weld County Colorado. http://www.coloradodar.org/chapters/centennialstate/cemeteries.html
Now I am combining work and putting my family genealogy (ancestors and descendents) on a data base and reaching out to family via memorials across the nation and around the world and taking photos of cemeteries where I go for others.
If you have a friend or relative in Mountain View, Idaho Veterans Cemetery, Terrace Lawn or Cloverdale Cemetery, Dry Creek or Old Pioneer (Idaho City), I will be glad to take a photo of the headstones for the memorials or transfer memorials that I manage.
If you want to copy any of the photos I have posted, feel free to as long is it is not used for profit.
"Upon my death I authorize any of my memorials to be transferred to any FAG contributor as they are requested."

"If ever there is tomorrow when we're not together... there is something you must always remember. you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. but the most important thing is, even if we're apart... i'll always be with you."

|Just~Us Relatives||RE: Reg: Jason Hitchcock Jr.|
I have not been able to locate the parents of Jason Hitchcock Sr. with the death date of 1849.
|Just~Us Relatives||Reg: Jason Hitchcock Jr.|
William, Jason and their mother, Polly are listed on the 1850 census living in Boone County, Indiana with what looks like maybe her brother, Heli Hurd.
|Peter Mc||Re: Margaret Hitchcock|
Hello KE. It turns out that this Margaret Hitchcock is the mother of Anna Hitchcock Ballard and the wife of Jason Hitchcock.

Understand the two sets of eyes way to well! Also understand the new system problem! Went through that last year. Ended up buying another computer just for my database as I did not like my other choices. FTM would not import all the data I had in my Legacy file. Also had no way to make a .ged when FTM told me I could import without it. NOT! Let me know if I can be of any help. Having error problem now trying to back up my files......grrrrrrr... J9

I have removed the photo as requested. Might I suggest that the better solution might have been to find someone in the family to contribute $5.00 to sponsor the memorial? Not only would the memorial then be ad-free forever, but you could have up to 20 photos attached.
Write to email@example.com. Give them a list of the 3 memorials (they prefer hyperlinks if you can) and they'll combine them.

Yes she married Wesley. She is my grandfather's Aunt.

Regarding the duplicate memorial. I requested Find A Grave to merge the two memorials.
As far as Lewis Gates, I am sorry but I am unable to help.
