PLEASE use the EDIT to ask for transfers, with your ID # and the PHOTO REQUEST if you want a photo of the stone for EACH person listed. I try to get other family near the one requested in case they are not already listed, but if they are already listed it is nice if you also request them. I print off the requests from the computer, and the "notes" don't show if you ask for other family members. You have my permission to use my photos of the stones for your family records.|
It is my wish that everyone is remembered, this is my way of helping make it happen. We all will make mistakes, I'm happy to make changes and transfer loved ones always hoping that you can add to their memorials. I just want to help, when I find more information and send an edit, it is sad when that isn't added. I am so thankful for the ones that put family of ours on, some we had no idea where were, so you can see what a blessing Find A Grave has been.
Today this seems to be the case- Author Unknown
An old man, a boy and a donkey were going to town. The boy rode on the donkey and the old man walked. As they went along the road they passed some people who remarked, "What a shame the old man is walking and the boy is riding." The man and boy thought maybe the critics were right, so they changed positions. Later they passed some people who remarked, "What a shame, he makes that little boy walk." So they then decided they'd both walk. Soon they passed some more people who remarked, "They're really stupid to walk when they have a donkey to ride." So they both rode the donkey. Now they passed some people who shamed them by saying, "How awful to put such a load on a poor donkey?" The boy and man figured they were probably right, so they decided to carry the donkey. As they crossed the bridge, they lost their grip on the donkey and he fell into the river and drowned. The moral to the story? If you try to please everybody, you might as well kiss your ass goodbye!
Having expressed this I have to say, most all of the people are easy to please. There are occasionally some who aren't, it is extremely hard to read people's minds. If you send information try to tell us how you want it added or used. It is really helpful if you send it directly to that persons memorial page, but I'll do my best to add & give credit to you however you get it to me. Thank you all who have sent links and info to make memorials more then just names and dates!

|gayle neuhaus||Obits for sites you own at Jelen, Knox county NE|
Just sent you Frances Nikl's obit. As I am adding the gravestones at Jelen, am finding I have many obits saved for sites you own.
I would like to share these with you. But have tendonitis in my right arm, making typing difficult.
Find A Grave frowns on obits being put on the picture side. I will try to occasionally type out an obit for you, unless you would like the clipping and type it yourself.
|Virginia Meadowcroft||Marrian Sherman Scotch Valley Cemetery|
Thank you for posting a photograph of Marrian's [name as spelled on stone]headstone. There is a marriage date posted to her memorial. Did you post it and if so, could you tell me where you obtained it? Thank you.
|Jay Freeman||David Butler|
Did you see? The F A G Gods allowed me to add Gov. David Butler's parents! It only took around 18 months since my first suggestion!
|Cheri Fuller-Olson||64269491 Frank Sipla Memorial|
Thanks for making the requested changes to memorials in Fordham Cemetery for Siplas and their siblings/descendants. I got a little "trigger happy" on a one or two - pushed the button for parents to be processed before I got them both entered - was used to the system taking two clicks before it would accept when I entered data. (sorry!!!).
I'm wondering if you know why this memorial shows he & his brother Albert are shown as 1/2 siblings? If they were I don't know about it.
I've added quite a few photographs for the Siplas in the past day or so & it's really helped me figure out a little more about who's who!!

|Amber Brosius||Rosa Evans|
Thank you so much for taking a picture of Rosa Evans' stone! The picture confirms what I had suspected, that she was the wife of my 3great-grandfather, which certainly solves at least one mystery. I really appreciate it.
