Bio Photo NOTE: Thanks for your patience re all SACs. Out of touch the next few days.

Born in Oklahoma City, I remain a longtime resident. Currently I am the Executive Director of the Casey Family Assn. Inc.; compiling and researching the Casey family history since 1992, and personally since circa 1982.

Our particular Clan Casey, even prior to 1725, when it first arrived on American shores, has been predominately Scots-Irish Protestants in faith and loyalties. No offense to Casey clans of other persuasions.

US Navy veteran: CTR3 (Communications Technician, R-brancher), USN (1967-1971). I'm looking for any and all former NSG Hakata, Japan CTs.

I support transfers to known relatives! After all, who is better qualified to manage a memorial than someone with a caring, kinship interest. However, please be somewhat specific in your requests. "This is a relative's memorial" will not suffice in the future. If you're only third cousins, five times removed, please just let me know. I'll probably transfer. Unfortunately, it only takes a few to make the majority of good contributors look bad.

And please let me know if you wish any of my photos removed. Especially the temporary grave markers, in lieu of permanent.

Stop by and pay a visit to my hero dad, Sgt. Raymond L. Casey.

"Our Country! In her intercourse with foreign nations may she always be in the right; but right or wrong, our country!" Stephen Decatur.

RE: Resurrection: O'BRIEN
You are welcome! Edward J. O'Brien was my boyfriend's uncle. So we were happy to link him with his mother.

RE: SCOGIN, Marilyn
They died within 3 days of each other. She was not "that" old. Do you know the cause of death for them? (just curious)

Her name on their marriage record was Marilyn S. Wisialowski. I have not had time to research it any further so I don't know if that was her original maiden name or a previous married name.

In our local paper the death notice was a duel posting ... for both of them. You might like to copy the obit I have on his pg, over to hers also.

Hello! In reviewing your record for Rufus Bumgarner, I followed the father link to George W. Bumgarner and it was noted there that his mother's name was Rebekah Chapman. If you have any info on George W. (b1830) and Rebekah, I'd really appreciate it!

RE: Mossville: GUTHRIE
Thanks for the quick update. I enjoy connecting memorials whenever possible. I'm not related to Liza (Hughes) Guthrie, but am related to her first husband Solomon Childers. His father John Childers is my direct line relative who was killed by bushwhackers in 1864, along with his son John Lafayette Childers. It was pretty difficult times for immediate and extended family; actually it was difficult for all of Northwest Arkansas!

I am enjoying researching the Newman family and getting folks linked. My great grandmother, Julia Ann Newman Dunlap/Phillips was a daughter of the Rev. George and Barbara (Hammond) Newman.

Hello. The photo you put on Don Wayne Jackson memorial 147961840 appears to be for a different person. I thought you might want to check on it. Thanks. GJ
