|Hello! I'm Neil Thompson. I graduated from Sheridan High School in 1970 and have lived in this area my whole life. I have been president of the Union Cemetery in East Union, IN (intersection of Hamilton/Tipton county line and US 31 N) for several years. I also mow the Boxley Cemetery in Boxley (Sheridan), IN. I really started getting interested in cemeteries and all their history after my parents died. If I don't know the answer to any questions about either of these cemeteries, I have the resources to find the answer. |
Thanks and happy hunting!

Thank you so much for finding and photographing the Bowser head stones. Thank you for taking the photographs as these head stones are so old, now they will be recorded for all time. I really appreciate the time you took to find these two head stones.

Thanks for trying to get a good picture since it is hard to read. Try this: rub the headstone with chalk. Sometimes it brings out the inscription.
