I am retired and living with my wife of almost 60 years on the western shores of Lake Whitney in Texas. I have been interested in genealogy for many years but am not a professional. :-) It is a hobby in my old age.|
My paternal lines include: SVACH, HAJEK, DRDLA, RICHTEROVA, and MATEJKOVA among others.
My maternal lines include: LESOVSKY, SHIPEK, SIPEK, KALIVODA, KOCIANOVA, and HREJSOVA among others.
I served in the US Navy from 1950-1954 as an Electronics Technician. I have a BS Degree from University of Illinois in Engineering Physics and a MS Degree from University of Texas in Management Information Systems (computers). I also am a radio amateur operator with call sign N5VFO. In addition to computers, researching and surveying cemeteries has become my #1 hobby.
My current title with the Bosque County Historical Commission is Chairman of the Cemetery Committee. I also serve as the Treasurer of the Bosque County Genealogical Society.
If I can be of service to anyone who finds an error in my memorials or would like to have more details added for your loved ones, please do not hesitate to contact me. Please send an SAC from the Edit tab of the memorial page with the details and I will respect your additions, and corrections.

Sadie was burr-free, I'm happy to report! It was hot that afternoon so I was glad the stone was easy to find. (The index for Mount Hope is really very good.)

Hi Louis, I am trying to find out (genealogy research) where Patsy Ruth Mandoiza Lancaster born 13 Aug. 1928 to John Francis Mandoiza, Jr. & Clara Lucille Montgomery Mandoiza is buried. I see their memorials (16862373 & 16862405) are maintained by you. She was the wife, I think, of Clyde Moore Lancaster, Jr. and the mother of John Francis Lancaster. I was wondering if she might be buried in the same cemetery as her parents.

Yes, that is the Ernest P. I was referring to. Thanks for the info I will give them a call.
|Randy Jones||Ernest P. Jones Obit|
Was looking for the obit for Ernest P. Jones, Birth: Dec. 6, 1872
Death: Aug. 26, 1959
Any info would be great!
The Henry Payne I entered was only a name and date of interment. ALL other info, links, dates, have come via SAC so I can't say if this is the same Henry Payne who also appears to have a marker in Cedron Cemetery.
My thinking is that it is a different person and some folks have added connections and dates that are incorrect. I'm reverting the entry to the way I had it originally. I can see by the sibling list that the generations/dates are off by 20 or more years on some, to be correct links.
Thanks for the transfer.
