| Bio and Links | I am retired and live in central Texas. As most of us have, I found FindaGrave while doing research on my family tree, and now find I prefer gathering information in a cemetery to sitting at my computer. My husband, T.C., and I have recorded information from 20 of the cemeteries in our immediate region and now our goal is to go back and take photos of all
the memorials we have entered.
I add all information with great respect, so if you find I am in error in any way please let me know and it will be corrected.

My aunt, her sister, is still living and told me her name was Mary Luater Trammell-Judkins. You have her listed as Mary Loarita. Her headstone shows Mary E. Margrette Ellen Woods didn't die in 1914. She was Mrs. Ellen Woods an informant on the death certificate of Mary Annie Cottrell who died 29 Oct 1918 near Glen Rose in Somervell County. Mary Annie Cottrell lived with the Robert and Ellen (Christian) Woods family from 1900 to 1918.

Thanks for letting me know that someone is looking or checking or whatever. Have fun if they figure it out and people are in the wrong cem. We straightened out three that were the same in Georgia, but fortunately there were no duplications. Noticed the contributor that had duplicated yours has deleted his as requested by me. Yes, confirmed! Canute Williamson and his wife Ranguil Andersdatter had their five children in Norway and, as was custom, the children took their father's given name and added "son" or "datter" to it. In this case, Canute(son) or Canute(sdatter). When landing in America they (the children) were Canuteson, while their parents were Williamson. Once here, of course, that naming custom was stopped. Death certificates and/or obits for three of the cildren noted "Canute Williamson" as the father. | | | Bill & Bobbye Varner
