My apologies for taking so long. As far as I know there is no link between the families. I just leave tokens. Best ever, Sarah.
Thank you SO much for helping the work here to continue! :-)

You're very welcome on the transfer.
If you check anywho.com for Reeves as last name and Franklinton, LA there are several that shows on there. Good luck to you!

I have been out to the cemetery twice. It is on private property and abandoned, therefore it is unkept. This time of year the grass is high with snakes. I'll be glad to give it another run but not until cooler weather.
I have photographed every readable stone out there.
I do not recall one with just "Grandmother" on it but if I had seen it I would not have recognized it as being useful because I could not tie it to anyone.
My obvious question is what ties it to her rather than Find A Grave ?
I have printed ur request and when the weather is right I'll go look for it .

You have my persmission to use my photos for your family tree. I added photos to all the Lowery memorials at the Blackmon Cemetery. If you send me links to link them together, I'll be happy to do that, too (I don't assume that people sharing a tombstone are married since sometimes people live together without ever getting married and sometimes I've found them to be siblings, etc.).

First of all, you cannot take a photograph posted on this site and use it anywhere without the owner's permission.
Secondly, I didn't post the other photograph because it wasn't submitted as a request.
I recently sent this to another user:
The way I've always done things is to go to cemeteries and take photos of all the graves I find. Then I use these photos to compare and create new memorials on findagrave. One thing that kind of irritates me is when I receive a request for a grave and it has a note to please take a photograph of the wife's grave as well (these people make one request but want 2 photographs). Why won't these people request both photographs? It takes a lot of time/work to take all of the photographs of all of the graves in a cemetery. Also, sometimes it takes a lot of time to locate a particular grave if you're hunting for just one is a large cemetery. Sometimes it hard to simply find the cemetery. And volunteers use their time and gas money to do this hunting so I don't understand why people won't request both photographs. I know some people on this site complain about people playing games on here and trying to make their numbers high--that it's all about numbers to some while to others these are their families. Well, I am guilty of watching my number of volunteer photographs taken grow. But in my own defense, it makes me feel like I've actually helped other people in doing this. Conversely, my creating a lot of memorials on here isn't as satisfying because I know that many of these memorials will never be looked at or appreciated so I haven't necessarily helped anyone when I add a new memorial. My main purpose is to help others as well as do my own research.
So, I'm sorry if I sounded like I was being harsh, but I've never found anyone else taking my photographs on a memorial. I suggest that you read the "Help with Find A Grave" link at the upper left of the screen which has guidelines and answers to all sorts of questions about how things work on this site. It is not okay to take someone else photograoh and use it without persmission.
I will be more than happy to work with you linking families together and editing memorials. I try to fill as many photo requests in my area as I can, but I can't travel right now because I'm on crutches recovering from hip surgery. However, I have pictures of about 90% of the memorials I've created (although many aren't of good enough quality to post, for example, a lot of graves get bird droppings on them. I won't post a photograph of a tombstone that has something like that wrong with it, and my back won't allow me to do too much bending).

You took the photo I posted on the memorial for John R. Lowery and posted it on Beulah Hunter Lowery's memorial. That is illegal. You cannot take my photographs without my permission. Please delete it.

Hi, thank you so much for the information! Per Find A Graves rules, I am only able to add the last name that is on her headstone, see below.
"How should I enter all married names for a woman's memorial when she was married more than once? The 'last name' should be the name that is on the headstone. Other married names should be included as part of the biography section. The 'maiden name' should only be her maiden name. Unless the maiden name is hyphenated, no part of the name should contain any punctuation."
Believe me, it does not make me happy, as I have family members that were married twice as well. I feel like, I am cutting off part of their history........... But, Find a Grave states we can only add additional surnames to the biography section. Do you know what her 2nd husbands full name was? I want to make sure I have him listed in her biography. I have been contacted about correcting this issue a lot here lately....... The admins are telling me to only use the last name on the headstone. So sorry!

Nancy, I'm the granddaughter of John & Arminta (his 1st wife). My grandfather is M.E(Minor), father Clarence W. dob 1926. I guess that makes you my ex-1st cousin by marriage 1x removed. That counts in genealogy, when we even count 7th & 8th cousins.
