Working on genealogy for my family. I live in Moncks Corner, SC.|
As time permits, I take pictures at local cemeteries and add memorials to find-a-grave. I try to look up as much information on the individuals as I can find to create links and add to their bio. I hope that the added memorials help people who are looking for family members and friends. If you come across a family member whose information is incorrect or that you would like transferred to you, please contact me.
I am working on two Family trees,

While I was there I took and uploaded the pics of the Unser headstones. In that process I noticed that Catherine Connole is out there twice. You may want to research that and have one deleted. Thanks, ~Bill

I uploaded her pic today. You may want to revisit her death date. It look like it was 1939, the late 30's. ~Bill

Thanks for the efforts of including records on findagrave; his wife is a distant gggggcousin to my wife. I noticed a typo his death year is 1973 but in the "notes" it is listed as 1972.
Thanks so much for the beautiful Richard Zimmerman grave photos!

Thanks Shawn. With gps coordinates I'm now sure I can find it.

Dear Shawn- thank you so much for the photo of the grave of John Schooley. I'm his gr-gr granddaughter. I'll be traveling to that area in mid October and am hoping to visit his grave. I've been told that this cemetery is now on federal prison grounds and special permission is needed to visit. Can you tell me if this is true and if so how you got access. I'd greatly appreciate and help you can offer.
Thank you so much for the transfers.

Hello. Archie Berlin McKinley is a cousin of mine. May I have permission to use your photo of their headstone for my tree on Ancestry.com? I also noticed that you are researching the Kirkpatrick family. My 2nd ggrandfather, Daniel F Spurr, was married to Sarah Ann Kirkpatrick, about 1840. He was from KY, she was from IL, and they both died in CA. Any connection come to mind? Thank you for all the good work you are doing. Regards, Diane

|Mary Brennan||RE: Rebecca Jerman Palmer Couturier|
Orginal Black Oak Cemetery is underwater. I found a book at the Berkeley county libray:Cemetery Records Lake Marion & Lake Moultrie----Cemetery Records A Documentary of Cemetery or Burial Ground Reports and Grave Relocation by Santee Cooper From the Project Area 1939-1941 Prepared as a Public Service by The Berkeley County Historical Society 1986. During the formation of the lakes many cemeteries were moved. Some only markers were moved, some remains and markers, and some nothing was removed. Many of the black cemeteries were left undisturbed and are all covered by the waters of the lakes.
I also am using "Berkeley County South Carolina Cemetery Inscriptions" book from the Library.
The photo of the grave marker states that is Rebecca Palmer Couturier daug of John & Rebecca Palmer Couturier who are my 3rd cousins 3 times removed. it is confusing since mother & daughter have the same names almost. mother is Rebecca Jerman Palmer.
Since I live in Summerville, I am going to try and figure this out. So far I have not found a 1870 census but am still looking.
Any suggestions or help would be greatly accepted.
