Bio and Links
Bio Photo I love searching through cemeteries looking at all the different head stones. I enjoy taking pictures for others. I would love to see the day when there are pictures of stones on this site for almost every grave.

If I have entered a memorial and you would like me to transfer it to you just ask. Unlike some others on this site. I DO NOT care about the numbers. I am only doing this for fun it is not a race or quest to see who can add the most entries.

My other love is dog rescue. I have fostered over 250 dogs through www.eskierescuers.org. I adopted two fantastic (well sometimes) American Eskimo Dogs. who have searched a lot of cemeteries with me.
I also have 3 beautiful Samoyeds that I show. My girls are all UKC, AKC Champion & Grand Champions. We also do dog sledding in the winter when we are not in the show world.

If anyone has any information on any Darhower's I would be most interested in it. My mother was a Darhower. Every Darhower I have been able to locate all lead back to Henry from Centerville, PA. Who original name was Dorheimer. He would be my GG grandfather. Also interested in Zeigler, Gayman, Nickey.

Anyone wanting to use my pictures for their personal genealogy files are welcome to do so.

I was wrong, they are not husband and wife but brother and sister. I've updated Find A Grave to reflect that.

Thanks for the photo. The name Ellen and Eleanore are the same person. She started out Eleanore and I guess she just liked Ellen better. I see that all the time. Someday I'll tell you about the relative that had "Toots" as her name on her headstone.

RE: Mattern
Sorry, I'm not directly related to the Matterns. I'm working through Jesse Sell's book on Altoona and Blair published in 1911. Lots of info, esp personal history that is difficult to get from just the documents, but generally can be confirmed later.

Crider photo
Gina, Thank you so much for the great photo of Jacob, Elizabeth and Catharine Crider's memorial. I was starting to think they did not have a stone as another volunteer fulfilled another photo request for this cemetery some time ago and I had added them at the same time. I'm glad to see they do have a stone! We have a rescue dog too, a adorable little Beagle mix that was at the shelter for a few months. Nobody was interested in him because he was not real social. That has all changed, just have to give them a chance :)

Thanks again!
Karen

~Thank you Gina~
I will definitely take care of Old Jacker! :0) By the way, I love your bio. Dogs are my passion too and it's amazing to read what you are doing! I love those pink dog booties the two beautiful dogs with the sled are wearing. You rock Gina! :0)

re: Jacker Campbell, 124839728
Hi Gina! I just finished visiting my 3rd great-grandfather (John Briggs Campbell) & his wife, Theodosia's graves. But I didn't get a chance to make it over to Jacker Campbell, my 4th great-grandfather's grave. I love the memorial that you created though!! What a character he must've been. ;0) It's easy to get a feel for what he was like by reading the clipping you attached. ~Your hard work & dedication here does not go unnoticed!~ Thank you!! Sherry in Anchorage :0) xoxo

Michael Smith
Yes I posted Michael memorial first, but that other member posted a very nice memorial. So I deleted mine. Thanks for the heads-up.

Obits
Thank you for the obits you had sent me for several memorials.

The memorial on Michael Smith, 140044615 being a dup. The name is so common that its easy to get memorials mixed up. My memorial is from a Michael Smith in Pa. and the other one was a Michael in Iowa.

Please keep up the good work on the memorials you had created.

Thanks
Warren
