When my mother passed away, my sister and I inherited her geneology binders. She had been researching geneology most of her life.|
I am trying to continue her work and this web site has been a tremendous help. (Thank you Kim for telling me about it).
I live in Wilmington, Delaware but travel a lot along the east coast for my work. When I have time, I will look up photo requests in the areas I visit.
If you would like to use one of the photos I have taken, please just ask. It is, after all, why we do it. Asking and a thank you makes the days walking through cemeteries and sitting at the computer worthwhile.
I will be glad to transfer any memorial that belongs to your family.
All readable monuments in the following cemeteries have been photographed:

thanks for the photo!
any sign of either of her husbands? Charles Deaver died 1917, is reported to be in the same cemetery. Second husband Charles Colgan died in 1963, burial unknown.
Interesting that her birth was recorded 1871 in England, her death certificate says she was born in 1872 and the grave marker says 1873!
Thanks so much for getting this photo for me. I have many relatives buried in DE (Bell and related) but I don't get up there as much as I should, since I live in VA. I have not been to Silverbrook in person but I'm hoping to get up there in the near future. Thanks again, Dick Belle

Yes, but they are difficult to search in the system and can't be viewed at all in the larger cems unless you search by first name unknown. No perfect answer for this. Your choice. They don't show up in county wide searches either. Depends on whether you are looking in a specific cem or in the larger group. Thanks for considering. Lots of opinions, no rule.

I really don't know where I got the information to create those memorials. I'm guessing it was something online, and after looking at your corrections, I wondered how this could have happened? Anyway, thanks for your input and kind words.
Thank you so much for going back to look. She will make the corrections, she is a busy girl!!. Thank you again for taking the time to do this for us. Neither one of us lives close so this is a big help!!!!
