Flowers are the sweetest things God ever made and forgot to put a soul into. ~ Henry Beecher, Life Thoughts, 1858|
The grave my little cottage is,
Where, keeping house for thee,
I make my parlor orderly,
And lay the marble tea,
For two divided, briefly,
A cycle, it may be,
Till everlasting life unite
In strong society ~ Emily Dickinson
I hope the information and photos I have added to Find A Grave will bring to you a sense of connection to those who have passed before us, and by their very existence, gave us life itself.
Please pass on whatever I have added to the memorials to others and websites to share so that those who may never pass this way will find that connection as they discover their loved one's memorials on Find A Grave.
May that discovery give delight to those who pass by here; a bit of connection to one's history; and a perspective that by recognizing our days are numbered, one should live it accordingly: It is the memories one leaves behind for others that leaves a legacy beyond one's grave.
Take the time to smell the roses and let it encourage you to leave the sweet fragrance of your life behind for others to enjoy.
Freely use any photos I have submitted for any purpose and upload them to any genealogical site you prefer.

|Janet LaMotte||Head-Baxter Family Tree|
You will be happy to know I have created a Head-Baxter Family Tree on ancestry.com with sources. I found no family tree created by you.
|Janet LaMotte||Edits to memorials|
Please use the "edit" function in the upper right hand corner of memorials.
Birth and death dates and locations
|Janet LaMotte||John Head|
Please remove the photo of his WWI draft registration. According to Find A Grave rulels, photo spaces are for gravestone photos and family photos, not draft registration which belongs on a genealogy website like ancestry.com.
|Janet LaMotte||Corinne Baxter|
I have added her obit and linked her parents. Please remove the photos of census records from her memorial. According to Find A Grave rules, the photo spaces are for gravestones and family photos, not census records. Do you know where her husband is buried?
|Tree Leaf||Anna Dunn|
Thank you very much for the transfer of her page. I will continue to work on her family.
|Tree Leaf||RE: Anna Dunn Bio|
Thank you so much.
I would not have asked for it, but now that you mention it, I might have more to add to the page as time goes on. I've been trying to find what happened to their daughters, etc.
Up to you, though. Thanks.
|Tree Leaf||Gilbert Stewart|
Was just stopping in to see if anyone had posted the biography of Gilbert Stewart from the Adams county history book. I see you have that and more. Great job with it.
I am not related to him, just wanted to pass it along.
Nice profile statement and poem.
|Sue Rhodes||RE: Netti Bane Kay|
Netti Bane Kay is my great-grandfather's sister. I am not related to Kay family other than through her. I am not interested in maintaining Kay findagrave. Thanks for asking and for updating information on her.
|sfwichman||RE: Ruth M Kuhn|
Ruth Kuhn's husband is a distant cousin to a distant cousin. This was my first experiment with contributing to Find a Grave, so I'm happy to leave the memorial to your care.
Thanks for checking on this, and for your contributions to this wonderful site!
