SUGGESTION!! Some of the photo requests have been on there for some time. I, and I'm sure other volunteers, have gone to the trouble of adding an address and phone number for cemeteries. Some of them are large, so it would help a great deal, if you really want the photo, to call and get a location.

If I take the time to find the plot location, and pass the info on to you, PLEASE add it to the page if possible. Otherwise if you're requesting a photo (which would be the only reason I would go thru the cemetery records) then at least add it in the message section of the request even if you have to put in a new photo request. If I'm wasting my time sending the plot location, then I'm certainly not going to waste my time taking a photo.

Also, please don't hassle me if I have a wife listed as Mrs. William (first name) ___. Her first name is not William, so don't ask me to change it, unless you know her given name.

PS. If some of my photos aren't quite as good as they maybe should be, I apologize, but I'm getting old and my knees don't take kindly to all that squatting.

Again, thanks for the photo's. It is greatly appreciated as I don't think that I will be getting that way in the near future.

On the PG "circle". I looked at the copy of the map that I sent you a few weeks ago and just noticed that there is a double circle that says in the center. "1 through 9." I guess in looking at it the outer circle is 9? This is the old part of the cemetery, right? So if I understand you correctly, does each number run around in a circle with 9 being the outer one? Hope you did not have too much trouble finding Harriet.

Thank you again.

Judy

From Tidioute go West on Campbell Hill Rd to the intersection of Youngsville Rd. Cemetery is on the NW corner just west of the intersection several hundred feet. There is a button to a map on the Excelsior Cemetery home page.

Burdell Goodman @ Grandview
According to our records, he is interred in one of the community crypts in the lower level of the west mausoleum. I've cross-checked the dates and added them to his page, which appear to match yours, however, he also shows in the Rootsweb California Death Index as having died in Los Angeles County.

I'll be gone all day today, but will check further when I get back to the computer tonight....
