Bio Photo I was born and raised in Washington State.
I met my husband in 1968 and married in 1970. My mother did genealogy for years and I didn't take it up tell after I was married. I have been working on our family for 30+ years. I love going to cemeteries and taking pictures of our departed loved ones. I also like the cemetery art.

Permission to copy tombstone photo.
I'm asking your permission to use a tombstone photo for a distant ancestor on my paternal side for my family tree on ancestry. Your photo confirms we had the wrong name for Elma H. Albrecht. (We had the name Alma.) Will give you credit and thank you so much for all your work for Find A Grave. Phyllis Nelson

Hi Linda,

I didn't know of your Bauguess's. I didn't know that they exsisted until I started doing genealogy in 1998. I found Jason Duncon and he interduced me to my whole family of Bauguess's and Pruitts and all the others. He has pictures of almost all of them. That is where I got my picture. If you don't know about him just put his name in google and he will pop up. His grandmother was Doris Bauguess and that was his start. Very smart man and kind.

If you want to keep in touch my email is

RE: Stony Ridge
Isn't it wonderful to share information that only you know. My Dad was William Albert Bawgus. They changed the spelling some time about when they moved to Tennessee. His family in Wilkes was Bauguess.
Thanks so much for remembering that for me. All my siblings are dead and I try to tell there kids as much as I can remember.

Kind Regards,
Mary Scheller

I posted a picture for you of Catherine Saltzgiver. She has no headstone at the cemetery, just her name listed on a plaque of those who are buried there.

Hi - I have been unable to photo any other Saltsgaver headstones. My research from records Gasper pd taxes earliest 1816 then Peter, Frederick, Jacob and Casper. The headstones were made by the same person out of a stone that deteriorates - a couple of those stones are unrecognizable and face down in the dirt. Would you care for a photo of the area where I located them? Since the family settled in Buffalo Twnshp, Guernsey Cty, Senecaville have you checked other cemeteries? I'll be leaving Ohio in a couple of weeks, please let me know your wish quickly and I'll snap a photo. Thanks
