Bio

I was born in Temple University Hospital in Pennsylvania and grew up all over the Phila area and Delaware County. I moved to New Jersey when with my Mother and twin sister Lisa when I was 16. Now I am a Jersey girl. I am 55 years old, married to my husband Georgie for 32 years. I was diagnosed with MS in 2001 and it has left me disabled. I am also now type I diabetic. I am a HUGE Frank Zappa fan; I have a passion for books, art and music. I love skin art, tattoos; I am an ink addict. Most of my tattoos are in memory of my lost loved ones, and of course Frank Zappa. I try to get one in memory of Lisa, every year on our birthday.I was a librarian that worked for our county library system for nearly 10 years until chronic pain led me to resign. But you can take the girl out of the library but you can't take the library out of the girl! Having to give up my job was one of the worst part of having MS. I am a Dogmom currently to 1 dog named Caeser, a Maltese.
My husband and I are both dog lovers. We will always own and love dogs. I am also a survivor of suicide; my twin sister Lisa Grissom killed herself in 1982. I will never get over her death, never. I was the one who found her. I have been dreaming of her since the day she died and will forever, until the day I die. I stumbled upon this wonderful website and found that it helps tramendiously with my grieving. It is a way for me to celebrate Lisa's life and the lives of my many relatives and friends, pets who have passed; my Mother Hannah Grissom and my only brother James Grissom. Thanks so much to those of you who have left flowers for my loved ones! I will do the same for you. God bless, Peace.
