Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hello everyone, my name is Lisa, and I enjoy cemetery hunting in my home state of Florida. Long time advocate for cemetery preservation and recording the history of cemeteries in the US and Canada.

Currently I am researching and gathering information from cemeteries in Volusia County Florida, Western North Carolina, Eastern Tennessee, Northern Kentucky, the Western area of Virginia, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Vermont and New Hampshire. If you notice a mistake or have further information you would like added to any grave I have added PLEASE let me know, I will be more than happy to change or add anything. I am also happy to transfer listings to family and friends who want to keep them up to date.

I have a lot of time on my hands at the moment. This also gives me a lot of time to research pictures and travel to cemetery's. Please keep it nice when you comment to me. I swear I'm a nice person.

If you are a family member or friend who would like the listing transferred to you please use the edit tab on a memorial to leave me a message. I will respond to you as fast as I can, but no later than 1 week if I am on another work project.

I'm really not picky about who I transfer a memorial to since I am not related to most of the people in the memorials I have added. I don't really follow the rules for transfers on Find A Grave and would much rather see someone who knew the person maintain the memorial.

Updating Information

If you are sending information to me to add to a listing I am more than happy to add anything you want. Same rules apply as before that I will update the listing as fast as possible but no later than 1 week.

If anyone has pictures of some of the stones I have posted please feel free to add them as this would be an amazing help. If you want to add family pictures do that also. The only thing I ask is that midi files be kept to the comments area if you want to leave that.

Any of the grave pictures I've taken and added are free for you to take and use.

If you are requesting I take the picture please let me know if you have a general idea where the person is buried if it is in a large cemetery. If you don't that is ok too, I can get the info if I need to.

I hope to talk to other people out there about the fascinating worlds of history and genealogy.

Thanks for the memorial
Thank you for letting me know where Skipper's grave marker was located. I went to high school with him. His mother is buried near mine.

Thank you for adding that very nice picture of Donald Bishop 133561832 - he was my grandmother's brother.

Hi Lisa.
I have to get to the office sometime during business hours and see if they have any burial info on the two women who's stones were dumped there. There are no duplicates in the cemeteries around them, so I don't know if they were mistakes.

Krick memorial plaques....
Lisa, Per direction from Find a Grave, what we need to do is create the memorials for the plaques in Florida. They will be cenotaphs. A cenotaph is a tomb or a monument erected in honor of a person or group of persons whose remains are buried elsewhere.
To add a cenotaph, create a memorial just like any other. Then email with a link to the memorial and a message to mark it as a cenotaph.
I think this is the way to proceed or there will just be others who find the plaques and don't know they are buried in Indiana.

Thanks for checking -- I think this is the way to go.

We found two more graves at Oaklynn Cemetery
The cleanup at the Oaklynn Cemetery continues and we brought two more graves to the light of day. I will add the pictures as we find them. It is about a four acre cemetery and we probably have three more acres to uncover. I was wondering where you got the information on the graves you have already entered. If you could provide that to me maybe it would help identify the location of those graves. We are going to use a metal detector to mark where we think a grave might be since many of them have been marked with metal plates and never had an actual stone. Thanks for all you do.
