Genealogy is very addictive but not having the final resting place for a member of our families can be very disappointing. I hope to have many ancestors of both mine and my husbands side of the family listed for future generations. Many burial locations are family
cemeteries that will be eventually lost due to overgrowth and lack of care for the sites. Hopefully this will help others looking for
their family.

Let us not forget
those who came before us -
Their lives,
however long or brief,
touch us all in so many ways

Let us learn
from those who came before us -
Their experiences,
however exciting or mundane,
have shaped our world today

Let us honour
those who came before us -
Their legacy,
however great or small,
is ours to carry forward
