COrozal american cemetery PANAMA --- contact Corozal through the AMBC contact form if you have details of family members or more info on the persons burried in the Corozal cemetery, as they are updating their files and they asked me to help if I got responses....|
...I am a belgian living in the Verdun area of France , I live about 10 minutes from the Romagne sous Montfaucon cemetery of Lorraine --
I just finished taking pictures in the Meuse Argonne cemetery , and will continue in Hamm luxembourg ---Once finished I intend to go to Saint Mihiel , St Avold and Belleau -to take pictures of all the markers there ... I try to do the smaller british cemeteries on my way through France and Belgium ..
Sometimes adding a complete graveyard isn t possible , as often there are headstones missing due to replacement or the stones are in very bad condition and cannot be read ---but I always try to get them done as complete as possible , so please forgive me if sometimes a few pictures are missing --because it isn t always possible to do a return journey .
Sorry to have to ask, but...
***Please don't take my photos and claim them as your own work***
Allow me to post them.
and please don t add more names in the Meuse Argonne site , all the names are there-
Remember to double-click on photos to get a larger and clearer view
small contributions towards my volunteer work in Panama are allways very welcome--This is the website where you can add a few pennies
I play a barrel organ in the streets which allows me to travel each year to panama to help

|Anna||Permission to use 3 pics|
I am presently working on a project honoring the soldiers from my hometown who gave the ultimate sacrifice. May I have your permission to use Fred Tolan, George Storm and Clarence Page's images from Meuse-Argonne American Cemetery with credit being given to you. Thank you for your consideration. Anna

Soilsister - We were only in Panama for a short time but had a great experience taking photos at Corozal Cemetery. We found someone else in the area to help take some more pictures.
Thanks for all you do on this site.
Each time I am doing local history and find one of the boys/men from my town that is buried overseas, I see your name on so many of the photos. You have my appreciation for all fine work you do taking and posting these pictures for families here in the United States (or wherever they may be) to see such well taken pictures.
~With my thanks!

my name is Erwin de Mooij and I am the content webmaster for the 457th Bomb Group Association website.
At this moment I am working on a virtual cemetery/memorial on the website honering all 339 KIA/MIA/KIS of the group.
I saw your picture of Marion D. Ross's grave marker and I was wondering if I could use it for the memorial. If you made any other photos of 457th BG members would I be able to use these too?
We would greatly appreciate it.

Would you happen to have a photograph of his tomb?

I added grave information for my great uncle Michael B. O'Connor who died at the end of WWI and is buried in the Meuse-Argonne American Cemetery in Romagne, France, plot A, row 9, grave 11 and then discovered there was already another entry for him along with a picture of his gravestone which you added. I don't want to make a copy of the photo without your permission. Thank you.

Thank you from this military Vet for the photo of his headstone. My generation wasn't handed down where he was buried-only that he died in war.
Military life is in our blood ~ he lost his life and so did his cousin-in same war.
May you have continued success!

It is possible I have not thanked you for the photograph you posted for my kindred deceased George L. Gray. Your selfless act of service is appreciated, profoundly.
Merci beau coup.
