Bio and Links
Bio Photo Shiloh Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery is special to me, and I have spent many hours documenting its graves. I have traveled from California to visit it and to make the photos of this Cemetery. Many of the markers are hard to read, so let me know if there are corrections.
Burney Sawyer, the founder of the Shiloh Primitive Baptist Church in Frisco City AL is my Great Grandfather. Click on the photo to the left for its caption. Please leave me a message.

RE: Mount Pisgah Cemetery
I have sent numerous edits. I don't have the time to correct all of your errors. I always go and recheck my markers when someone lets me know that they have added numerous photos.
Thanks
Martha

Hi Gwynn,
I have added a lot of photo markers to memorials you have listed. I have added some info on the "edits". You might want to check cemetery list and compare to marker info.
Thanks
Martha

John Hybart Greene
Gwynn...I'm trying to help my Half-brother, who was born to my bio mother and given up for adoption to John Hybart Greene And Murial Dyer Greene. John Greene is the son of Lonie Melinda
Sawyer 1887-1979 who is the daughter of Burney Sawyer and married Levi Asa Greene on 28 Aug.1905.
My half brother John H. Greene Jr believes that his adoptive dad is actually his bio father because when born he was given the name John Hybart and when legally adopted he was given the last name Greene. John's email address is as follows, jgreenesme@gmail.com Mine is pmford70@comcast.net. Thanks for listening.

Shiloh Primitive
Gwynn, I feel like you do about this cemetery because so many of my relatives are buried there. Unfortunately, there are really poor records to back up a lot of people that are buried there! I have been down there 3 times and I could spend days in there trying to piece together who is who in there and still not ever get through the whole thing. There has to be more records somewhere! I am looking for Eliza Ann Byrd Hale & William Charlie Hale that are supposed to be buried at Shiloh but short of going there and trying to clean some of those stones, its hard to read, I couldn't tell because there is not a list. Any ideas?
