Taphophilia (a passion and enjoyment of cemeteries) has been my main hobby since the late 1970's when I was a junior in high school. I discovered that cemeteries in and around Los Angeles were the best places to hide from truant officers. It was in these adopted sanctuaries that I began to appreciate my surroundings: the grounds, the headstones, the architecture, the artwork and most importantly, the residents.|
In October of 2010, I founded The Traveling Taphophiles, a group that sets out once a month to visit cemeteries. Our travels have taken us as far as New Orleans. I'm fortunate to have met others that share my hobby and to have forged some great friendships along the way.

Happy Graving ~
I miss Chris and Martha with all my heart.

|Robert Mahoney||RE: Clyde Grimes Jr|
I did a little searching and found this Go Fund Me page set up by his family. Clyde has been in a recovery program for a few years and they only say that he did unexpectedly.
None the less, good work and thanks for making the page.

Will there be anymore photos taken of Coach Summitt's grave? It has been two months and I'm sure there may be a stone there by now. Please update her grave and it's progress. I live several hours away from Clarksville and Find a Grave is the only way to see her grave as it gets a stone..I'm really interested in what they put on her stone..I love Coach Summitt, and the Lady Vols! Thank you for all the good work!

Thanks for the bio. As usual, they are very detailed and interesting. By all accounts she was a fine lady. One possible error, though. Claudia Martin was her stepdaughter . Her daughter with Dean was Gina.
Keep up the stellar work!

|Love Always, Renee||Great Bio for JEANNE MARTIN|
Thank you for doing a great job on Jeanne Martin's memorial page. I was happy to find the link to Betty McDonald Martin, and I sponsored her memorial with the credit I have from Jeanne's memorial.
|Love Always, Renee||RE: FYI, Jeanne Biegger Martin, died today|
Thanks for replying. I went ahead and sponsored the memorial. I always wanted to meet Jeanne Martin because I am a Dean Martin fan. I day dreamed about having coffee with her and hearing stories about her life. I hope to visit her and Dean's burial sites someday.
Thank you for taking the picture of my friend Sherrys headstone with her mother. If my husband has his way we will never be in southern california again. thanks again. Sandra Munyon
Hey Louis, Hope this finds you well.....Looking forward to seeing you again soon. I submitted photos to your memorial for him. See his wife if not approved yet. James

|Raul Rekow Jr||RE: Raul Rekow|
Please don't apologize at all my friend! We, the Rekow family, are very thankful that someone would even take the time you did to create the page for him. Please accept our gratitude! am curious about where you got the information from? Perhaps I can help correct their information as well.
Thank you again,

Thank you for adding the information on my father, Raul Rekow. However some of the information is incorrect. If you don't mind, I sent in a request to edit his birthdate (6/10/1954) and the date of his passing (11/1/2015). Unfortunately, due to the high profile of this website and its records being used on other websites, it has caused some confusion amongst the community of my father's fans. Thank you again and have a wonderful day!
Raul Rekow Jr.
