Generally interested in genealogy. I became instantly fascinated with this site once I saw relatives graves from 100+ years ago!I live in Fosston, Minnesota, but I am from Richland, Washington. I am usually in the Tri-Cities, WA area one to two times a year.I am more than willing to transfer memorials to relatives, according to F.A.G. policies, and even beyond F.A.G. policies. If you're a relative even ten generations removed, and I'm not a relative at all, then why not let you maintain it?! Please request transfers in the correct way, otherwise I won't make the transfer. (Correct way: from the memorial you want transferred, click "Edit," click "Suggest any other correction or addition," and in the message box, include your member number and state your relationship to the memorial person.)Feel free to send me any memorial updates/additions/edits through the appropriate link on specific memorials. I don't always get to them right away. Have patience. If you would like to request a photo of a stone for a memorial, please follow the F.A.G. guidelines about Photo Requests, at http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=listFaqs#55. If you want to use any photos I have taken, I hereby give permission but request that you credit me as photographer, using my first name and my Find A Grave profile URL.My (close) family names are Hevel, Hampton, Guerrant/Guerin, Westgate, Travis, West, and Tenpenny. Some further family names of mine (directly descended from all) are Kressin/Kresain, Heazle, Done, McCulley, Hill, VanHooser, Wilson, Craft, Coon/Gohn, Strayer, Stockton, Akers, Elam, Graham, Gray, Hall, Beggs, Berger, Crantzdorf/Cransdorf, Derr/Dörr, Rodgers/Rodger/Rogie, Weidler/Widler, Davidson, Klein, Patton, Ryan, Wohlgemuth, Hoffstetter, Gutt, Reckner, Sachser, Schnewli, Clayton, Forgus, Harris, Epperson, Ireland, Morgan, Perrow/Perreau/Perrault/Perault, Thomson, Trabue/Trabuc, Renno/Regnault, Doughty, L'Orange, Vereul/Verrueil, Chibailhe, Prodon/Prodhomme, Whitehead, Witham, Andrailh/D'Andrailh, Mariette, Azam, De Marty, De Gascon, De Lambrail, Du Fay, Couillard, Hoag, Tevenin, Nepvue, Auber, Rousselin, Boucher/Bouchard/Le Boucher, Donnet, Verson, Duchesne, and possibly Robinson (connected with Witham).|

I received a message from Carolyn Allen with a link to click on, it wouldn't open. The help section didn't give me any information. Any suggestions. Thanks, Craig

The Family has reached its limit on photos for Ingaborg Sorbo Svein and we would like to add more.
Would you please be so kind as to remove the three images you have posted on her page?

Thank you in advance for your prompt reply.

What a lovely reply! Jim did indeed mention Carol, but as you said, she was much younger and I think the older two regarded her as a pest. When you talk to your mom, please send her Jim's regards. He was, indeed, called Jimmy back in those days but immediately dropped it when he could. Your grandfather and grandmother were about the only relatives he could stand (and after meeting some of them, I completely understand!), and plans had been made for Lee and Mabel to take Jim in the event of his parents' deaths. Your grandparents must have been truly remarkable to have influenced my husband to such an extent.
It's a pleasure to get to meet another part of my husband's family through you and your mother.

Thanks for responding. He was my husband"s favorite uncle, and Jim had told me such wonderful stories about his cousin Ann and her mother. I feel like I know them. I did some research through Ancestry.com which led me to you. We were not aware of Ann's death, nor the death of Mabel.
Again, thanks for the response and for taking care of this site.

I just read your notes and you've got a ton of family names that you're researching but not one of them is Byer. I'm chasing that one out of Indiana thru Bemidji and into Whatcom and Yakima counties, Washington. If you see any Byer tombstones in those little Minnesota cemeteries, please photograph and document them; they may be on my tree. Thanks, again, for everything.

Thank you very much for adding the excellent photos to Effie's memorial. I think a photo of a grassy plot is better than no photo at all. Your photos look great! Thanks again.
