Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been researching my genealogy for many years and now have over 15,000 people in my database and in a private genealogy website.

I am a former Navy Nurse, civilian nurse, nurse educator, airline pilot and diving instructor. I am still a photographer & do some tutoring in addition to my genealogy work. I enjoy walking cemeteries and taking photos for you.

I have found thousands of relatives and ancestors who were murdered in the Holocaust. I am entering them, one by one, and so far have created over 2,300 of their memorials, nearly 1500 in Auschwitz alone! They are separated in my virtual cemeteries by camps, and I also created a virtual cemetery for the children. I would be honored if you would stop by to visit them when you are able. I ask only that you refrain from leaving Christian tokens or wording. Thank you so much.

Feel free to add photos to my memorials any time, as long as you have taken them yourself and have not copied them from obituaries. Thanks!!

I am happy to make additions, corrections and family links, and am always grateful for additional information you can send. Please send them using the EDIT feature on the memorial page. I will act on all additions, etc. within 24 hours, if possible.

I would so appreciate if you would stop by my beloved dad's and mom's memorials and leave a token so I know you've been there. My mom just got to heaven on Feb 6th. Thank you so much to those who have already visited them. I have also made virtual cemeteries for my 5 wonderful fur babies and 2 special cousins. They would love to see you too. I miss them all so much. Thank you.

♥My Dad♥ and ♥My Mom♥

I would like to thank every one of you for visiting my family members & friends. It truly means so very much to me to see all your tokens and notes. You are a very special group of people and I am so grateful to have met you.

Your tombstone stands among the rest
Neglected and alone
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished marble stone
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood and bone
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so
I wonder if you lived and loved
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot
And come to visit you

Charles Maat

I was wondering why you put at the bottom of Charles Maats obituary at "Daddys*Girl"? He only has 3 sons.

Thank you,

Hello, thanks for paying tribute to this lady, she was my husband's grandmother. We are curious where the photos came from? They are lovely and the photo of Maurice Zwaaf included my husband's father as a young boy.

RE: My daddy
Hi Sue, pleased to know how much U liked the 'Dancing in the Sky' token & it seemed to be appropriate for him & UR Mom. So sorry I was not able to get back online to wish UR Dad 'Joe" a Happy Birthday & also for Gr.Pa. 'David". [But did that today] I know how hard these days are for you to get thru, even if they are Birthdays, we are simply not with them, except in love & spirit.

Yes, it seems to be a busy time for all. Our daily lives go on & seem to limit our 'flowering' time.

Thanks for UR sweet message.

RE: Elsie V. Bray

Hi - I think this is the link to Marie Emmaline Gramberg Edge 1878-1959(Elsie Virginia Edge Bray's mother). The father's name was John Henry Edge 1874-1946. They are buried together at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia. I don't know anything at all about maintaining sites on Find a Grave, so a transfer probably would not be a good thing. I just locate people there to add to my Ancestry tree. Elsie Virginia and Leslie Bray had no children. My mother grew up in the Edge family as a sister to Elsie and others, but she was actually a foster child. She spent her whole life with the Edges, though, unlike most foster children who only stay temporarily. My mother was a "permanent" Edge, so Elsie (Virginia as she was known) was my Aunt, as were her two sisters and a foster brother. You are the terrific one here, as you have figured all of this out and are maintaining some of these sites. Thank you very much for that! I don't really know anything about the Brays except that Leslie "Les" was said to have had some musical talent and could play things on the piano right after hearing them, etc. I know his father had come from England and that's about all. If I can be of any more help (linking the Edges maybe?) please let me know. Thanks again!

Fighting Cancer
Thinking about you today
I am so sorry about you losing Zach, I know that pain all too well. I'm sending you a hug.

Beyond The Rainbow
As much as I loved the life we had and all the times we played,
I was so very tired and knew my time on earth would fade.
I saw a wondrous image then of a place that's trouble-free
Where all of us can meet again to spend eternity.

I saw the most beautiful Rainbow, and on the other side
Were meadows rich and beautiful -- lush and green and wide!
And running through the meadows as far as the eye could see
Were animals of every sort as healthy as could be!
My own tired, failing body was fresh and healed and new
And I wanted to go run with them, but I had something left to do.

I needed to reach out to you, to tell you I'm alright
That this place is truly wonderful, then a bright Glow pierced the night.
'Twas the Glow of many Candles shining bright and strong and bold
And I knew then that it held your love in its brilliant shades of gold.

For although we may not be together in the way we used to be,
We are still connected by a cord no eye can see.
So whenever you need to find me, we're never far apart
If you look beyond the Rainbow and listen with your heart.
