Bio and Links
Bio Photo My main intention is to show as much respect for the life of everyone I list. Their lives meant a Lot to a lot of people. I mean NO disrespect to anyone.

We have enjoyed listing and photographing cemeteries in the Granger, Indiana area. If we listed one of your family members, or someone you would like to have, we will gladly transfer them to you. If you would like to have the listing removed or any part of it removed, please let us know and we will respect your wishes.

Please use findagrave numbers when asking me to do something. Better yet, use the EDIT tabs.

The personal photos I enter are either from the South Bend Tribune or Elkhart Truth or from the funeral home that listed their passing. I am just trying to respect them with their photo.

Thank You for ALL of the wonderful feedback. Your fantastic comments are what keeps us doing what we do. We do this for You.

If you find ANY Mistakes I have made, Please bring it to my attention and I will do my best to correct them. If there are any duplicates that I have made, let me know.

"PLEASE" use the edit tabs for any and all changes-additions-or other info "PLEASE"

In response to ALL of the people who accuse us of "It's only about the numbers." Yes it is only about the numbers. If I list only one person, I have only helped one family. If I list a thousand people, I have helped a lot of families. The more I list, the more I help and the more I give the respect they deserve. Make any sense to anyone?

Haines tree
This is my Grandfather Haines' Find A Grave #= 33010189
From his page you can go clicking all over creation in my tree.
He heeded the call to "Go West Young Many" I guess. He came out here to OR about 1892 and stayed.

RE: Haines Family
Huh, how do you like them apples? :-] Am I good or what?
I will check my "Richard Haines and His Descendants" books and see if he ever added them to his books. Maybe you have seen the 2 book issue of those books? There are a ton of Haines in them.
That happens though. Eventually you run into the end of the line on all your branches and can't get any further. We know where it all started anyway, with Adam and Eve. Between here and there is another story though. Maybe the Lord will have a genealogy library in heaven? It would probably be an awful big library!

RE: Haines Family
Richard Haines family first settled in New Jersey and the descendants lived there for quite a while before some started moving in different directions for one reason or another. Some moved over in PA and some OH and many other places.
Is your George the one that died in 1894, wife Margaret who died in 1893 or is that the wrong George? They are in Old Greencastle Cemetery in Dayton, OH

RE: Alfred Helm
OK, thanks for letting me know. Looks like you might be related to me maybe? There are millions of Haines in the U.S. descended from the Richard Haines who left England in 1682 though, including me.

Mary E. (Templeton) Wolfe in St Joseph Valley Memorial Park Cemetery
First, thank you for all the work you've done. I'm sure you've helped many find their ancestors.

About Mary E. Wolfe buried in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park: Why is she listed with maiden name of Templeton? Her death certificate (viewable in Indiana Death Certificates 1899-2011" at ancestry.com) shows her as daughter of Simon & Emeline (Teel) PATTERSON.

I am not related to Mary, but am helping a friend research his ancestors. If the maiden "Templeton" is an error (and I think it is) could you correct this on Mary's findagrave page?

Thanks for whatever you can do.

Duplicate memorials
Hi, I was wondering if you knew, is there a way to merge memorials? I had one set up for my great uncle Walter, and Great Aunt Dorothy and it seems you entered a second memorial. I am not in the area, so I didn't have pictures yet, so I am very grateful that you got them, but I don't want the confusion of two.
Walter Whitacre #58010861 (mine is 49653487) and Dorothea Allen #95046812 (mine is 49659088).
Is it better for me just to add edits to yours and delete mine?
Thanks for your help
Maria

Find A Grave Memorial #170231164
Find A Grave Memorial# 170231164 - this is my brother. I am our family historian/genealogist. I would appreciate you either transfer ownership to me and/or delete his memorial altogether as I/we aren't ready for it to be here yet. This is the 2nd time that a Memorial for him has appeared that was not done by myself or his family. Both times I went back into full grief mode seeing his picture pop up unexpectedly ... please understand that although it may be a numbers game for you helping other families, it is still too "fresh" for the hearts that are breaking without their immediate, known loved one here. Thank you.

Richard VanHolsbeke
Find A Grave Memorial# 75717415. How do you know he is resting next to his second wife Donna? On his obituary it reads he married Donna Anthony on Aug 12 1923. But his 1930 census reads Marital Status: Divorced; Relation to Head of House: Lodger. Do you know if she remarried? There is no death date for her. I do know Richard had a stepson his name was Robert Antony per his obituary. So I don't know what Donna's maiden name is. Can you help me out with this family? Please tell me anything to know. Thank you Laurie

RE: Stanley Isban
I've linked him to Dorothy and tried to explain his life and wives on his memorial, 171514841. Thanks for your understanding and willingness to try to keep the records straight! I cannot find where his second wife (who remarried after his death) is buried.
