Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am Margaret Tomer Rummens.

In 2008, I put my father's name in an online family tree website (Tribal Pages) and started adding all my close family members. Then I started doing a bit of research; my dad always wanted to know about the Morningstar family, so I started there. Now I have over 4,000 family members added.

I also have a family tree on Ancestry.com: Lorenzo James Tomer family.

I retired June 2014 from teaching. I started out as a history teacher and then moved into computer applications and YEARBOOK!

Family names:

Paternal: Tomer, Morningstar (Pittsburgh)
Maternal: O'Hare, Cunningham (Illinois)

RE: SAMUEL GRAHAM AT CHARTIERS CEMETERY
Where did you get the birth date? I asked Frank to connect them. A death notice that old most likely wouldn't list the children, but I found them in the census in 1850. Samuel WAS forty two years old when Addison was born, and wasn't finished yet!

SAMUEL GRAHAM AT CHARTIERS CEMETERY
Hi Margaret, it's me, Mary. Is Samuel in your tree? I'm working on civil war veterans at Chartiers and Addison Graham's death notice lists his father as Samuel. Do you have a better date for Samuel so I can link them?

RE: Samuel Graham at Homewoif
Actually I made a mistake and put the picture of Samuel Graham 1918 marker for the Samuel Graham you requested, and had to delete it. There are three Graham markers in that lot, for Samuel Graham 1918, Clara Graham and Fannie Graham. Samuel Graham 1937 does not have a marker. Sorry for the confusion.

Chartiers is my favorite cemetery to work on. Talking about “deep in research”, I am helping the GAR with the civil war veterans there.

The girl who runs the office suggested I have a marble bench installed for myself.

Do you have a whole date of death for Willa, so I can find a death notice?

Margaret, I can't see that I have a duplicate of your memorials with the exception of Ellen Taussig.

No problem Margaret. Thank you so much. He is my grandfathers brothers son. I have added some other photos I have from my grandmothers things she left me. I love photos. Thanks for doing this.
