Goddeau and Allen families
Hello Victor and sorry to bother you again. I understand you are listing your fallen brothers and family members and appreciate the work involved in this.
Thomas Goddeau and family, and Bruce Allen and family are all buried in the Magdala Solititude cemetery as well, not the old cemetery for St Alexander's church in Morrisonville, NY. There were very few burials in the old cemetery after the 1950's, only older families who already had plots and family buried there.
Thanks, Laura

RE: Sorrell family in Morrisonville, NY
Yes, strange that they did mention the name, as the sign in front of the cemetery says Magdala Solitude (as you can see in the pic on the home page here in findagrave). The old one was small and they ran out of room, so they built the one across the street.

Sorrell family in Morrisonville, NY
Hello Victor...it appears you are not aware that there are 2 catholic cemeteries for St Alexander's church in Morrisonville, NY. The Old cemetery is across the street from the New one and was not used much after the new one was organized in about 1952. As such, your Sorrells should be listed under the New cemetery, called Magdala Solitude.
Thanks, Laura

Thank you So Very Much for posting Caroline's Headstone photo!! :-) I was wondering whether you by any chance saw her husband Mack's burial there as well? Their great-grands will be in North Carolina next month and wanted to know if he is buried there as well? Blessings, Sandi :-)

Danke Shoen for PFC James Elmer Theisen memorial
Victor, just a quick note to express my heart-felt gratitude for you efforts in creating all of your "brothers'" memorials, but especially for this one. I'm not related, but I am collaborating with another individual to create a Memorial Day 2016 report honoring the Melrose, MN area "Gold Star" families. PFC James Elmer Theisen is one of ours, too.

You have definitely provided me with details to work with & I do appreciate it.

Back aboard ship, we'd hoist a "Bravo Zulu" set of flags, but for now, this "old Sailor" salutes & sends you a "Well Done, Marine!" Semper Fi!

Victor,

The pictures were recently released. Ken was a childhood friend. His brother, David, Milwaukee, provided the pictures to a specialist on the Vietnam Virtual Memorial Wall.

memorial transfer
Hello Victor,

I was wondering if you'd be willing to transfer management of a memorial to me. This is for PFC Gene Gietzen (memorial # 69821716). He was my mother's first cousin.
I was so pleased to see the photos and the information about him on there.

Thanks for your time,
Claire

Hi Victor,
In our review of the information on the website regarding our brother Gerald, it indicates that our brother James was a half sibling. This is news to all the family members. I would ask that you double check your information and remove that reference from the website. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. Thank you for your help. If you are not the best person to handle this, please forward the request.

Sgt Kenneth William Orton, Jr. FAG Memorial #121812098
Victor,
I have tried your direct email address a couple of times, without success - so I thought I would try your public message.
I admire the work you have done with the 7th Marines.
I am trying to do some similar work with the Marines who served in my platoon during 1966-1967 in Vietnam.
I was the platoon commander of Bravo 1, 1/9.
Would you be willing to transfer the management of Sgt Orton's memorial to me?
I am Find A Grave #48306877.
Thanks,
Semper Fi,
Dave
