RE: William Ralph Rarick
Oops - just talked w/my mom and evidently he was actually in just at the end of the Korean War, and she remembers him getting a bonus (about $400) for being in that timeframe.

Sorry about that! I see your other notes and will respond to them soon.

Hi Jay, that was my father Bill. He was later than the Korean War. He actually was stationed in Africa for his 1st year, then in Rapid City, SD for most of the rest of his time -that's where I was born. He was in the Air Force.

RE: Lester Tyler
When I get the chance I will contact the church and verify that is the specific location and make a small head stone for him.

Thanks again, Barb

RE: Charles McFall's Father
Jay, I linked Charles & Eliza to a Thomas McFall in Winfield. Did I get the right one?

Jay, they are tearing the old school down sadly. It is full of asbestos and it is so structurally unstable that it was condemned, so it is being torn down and the Faith Baptist church will use it as additional parking.

RE: Getz Photos
Not a problem! I live just on the other side of the alley so I can walk to the cemetery! And thank you for listing Old Adamsburg cemetery, I've had many request but most of them are for the old cemetery and those stone are a challenge to find! I'll be looking for John D. Getz here shortly!
