|LSJRJT||Pulaski County KY Jones Surname|
Pulaski County KY Jones Surname
I am trying to find my oldest-known grandfather’s grave. I’ll call him “Father Jones”. It is reported that he died in Pulaski County, Kentucky. I cannot find a grave or any records on him. If you have any information on him or know of someone I can contact, please let me know!!
Father Jones had four sons; Alexander, James, Robert, William and Thomas. Thomas was the only one born in Pulaski County around 1800. Father Jones died between Thomas’ birth and the War of 1812. It is stated that Father Jones died prior to his son Robert joining the War of 1812.
Any help that anyone can provide would be GREATLY appreciated!!

Thanks for all of the Clay Hill Cemetery photos and your work to help us all find our family members.
I have a question that you may have check cemetery records to find an answer. One of my relatives Nina Murphy Colyer Windell memorial # 75830325, why the Windell? She died in 1942 and her husband Everett Greenup (I find research that middle name is Green) Murphy lived until 1965 and I wonder where the Windell engraving came from.
Nina's middle initial is listed as H. in census records.
Maybe one of the relatives have an idea...
Thanks for your help..

Thank you ever so much!

Thank you for the picture of James Bray's grave. I have made a memorial for his wife, Mildred. Do you mind adding the picture of their stone to her memorial as well? If not, this is her memorial #116452869.

Thank you for being so prompt in taking the photo's of graves. Children often die within the census and get lost except for Bible Records. I have a maternal line of Nunnelley's as well as a great grandfather Anderson B Nunnelley that William Robert Nunnelley connects to after several generations. My mother had trouble telling me how many Nunnelley's there were in Kentucky, so working on this line is all new information to the family. W.R.Nunnelley and Nannie had two other children, Jella N and Golda both I have not been able to find at this time. Keep up the hard work, it is worth it and I will do my part. Warm Regards

Thanks so much for the nice photos of the Colyer graves at Clay Hill. Fantastic photos - I am thrilled to see them. Hopefully one day I can make a trip to see them in person.
It is with a sad heart that I inform my Find A Grave friends of the passing of my Father, William Leondas "Bill" Myers Jr., yesterday, January 3rd, 2010. Please, keep our family in your prayers as we go through this difficult time.
