I been working on my ancestry information for a couple years (but will always be a beginner) on the following families:
- Rickard, Morrison, Fry & Knapp from West Virginia - Girton, Hidlay, Herrold, & Yeager from Pennsylvania.
I am working with Family Tree Maker 2012. I really enjoy working with this program. Some day soon I'll get my nerve to upload my tree "Sharon's World & Beyond". This project, and some quilting, helps to keep my mind active!
Originally from West Virginia. I've lived in Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, and I now live in Kentucky. As I visit other little "burgs" I stop and take a few shots of monuments. I love the different styles from elaborate to simple - I love them all! I'm willing to get out to take photos if they are easy to get to! Can't climb all over the country sides any more! Also, if there is a memorial that you would like to maintain just let me know!
Thanks for any help! God Bless! Sharon

 | RE: Evelyn O. Workman Miller #11358131 The only thing I stumbled across yesterday was the date of 1938. In the back of my mind, I remember one of my cousins saying, and, I believe it was Uncle John's oldest daughter, that she only lived a few months after they were married. I always assumed that Uncle John's two oldest kids were Evelyn's 'cause there was a few years between them and the other 3 kids. If I discover anything else, I'll let you know and you do the same. Maybe, we can solve this mystery! | | | timothyalanneal@yahoo.com
 | Blanche Neal... I have her maiden name as "Rucker". I have also sent you an email more detail. Thank you so much for your work. | | | Sharon J Mendenhall
 | RE: Evelyn O. Workman Miller #11358131 I took a silly guess and had them married in 1936 'cause the family always said they were young. However, on the 1940 census he is living with his parents and listed as single, which isn't unusual. It is a shame I lost Aunt Jenny last November, she was the last one in my mom's family and she thru dates out there like bird seed. She knew all of the family secrets. Grave markers can be wrong, I just found one that has the name spelled wrong. I'm sorry I can't be more helpful as all I know is what I've heard thru the years and that was years ago. Uncle John always seemed such a sad man, I believe his heart was truly broken when she died so young. | | | Jennifer Badgley Young

 | RE: Gladys Lucille Stewart 65961274 I have no idea where she died. Could be WV or OH since parts of her family lived on each side of the Ohio River.

 | Rev Seigel's memorial Sharon, as the transfer requested would be out of guidelines, I will retain management. I will be happy to add information/links that are sent through the Edit-SAC tab on the memorial. Carol | | | Gail Henry-Thompson (Miller)
 | RE: Carla Leadman, Cynthia Ray I have known Cindy's husband Ed for over 20 years. He was on the fire department with my ex-husband and is my daughter's afternoon bus driver now. It's funny, however, because Mary Brooke went to school with me and my sister and Curry was the gym coach and assistant basketball coach when I was a senior in high school at Milton! I can't rememeber if I had ever met Cindy. | | | Gail Henry-Thompson (Miller)
 | RE: Carla Leadman, Cynthia Ray You are very welcome. I am just glad I could look in the cemetery records and find where Cindy was. They are close, just not as close as I thought they were. I will get her picture as soon as the weather clears up here. | | | Amanda Bishop Burns
