I was born in southwestern Minnesota and now live in the Twin Cities. |
My wife introduced me to genealogy in 1998. Since then I've discovered a little Scottish in my otherwise Norwegian and German ancestry.
The cemeteries of Rock County, Minnesota (Maplewood, St. Catherine's Catholic and Memory Gardens also known as Restlawn Memorial Gardens, and Luverne Memorial Gardens) are of particular interest to me.
My goal is to keep families connected to their ancestors through Find A Grave. I will gladly transfer memorials to family members.
Please submit any additions or corrections to me under "EDIT" and "SUGGEST A CORRECTION" on the memorial site.

Eureka Cemetery photo of back of monument. It is a good picture. But, the back has little and so could it be put back in your shoe box so family photos and documents could be installed. Thank you, Martin Burrell
Hi Greg :
I am so sorry I didn't get your suggestion to add Ivy's maiden name (McClure)to her memorial.I don't know what is going on w/the change of hands between Find A Grave & Ancestry but just now noticed a new "edit" thing on my page that wasn't there before the change. That is where I found/saw your suggestion etc.
I did add her maiden name...THANK-YOU !!!
Have a great day,
~ Beth ~
I linked Ivy to her parents.Would you like me to transfer her to you ?

Dear Gregory -
Thank you for responding to my edit request and transferring Mary's memorial to my care. I Truly appreciate your time. You've helped me connect and piece together an important figures role and disposition in my family's ancestry.

This would be the other twin, Minna, I'm guessing is short for Wilhelmina. Her sister "the twin" Beth is alive and well in MI. Minna had already died in October when the dr decided to take Beth for her survival 10/30/1964

Thanks Greg for the photo of the tombstone of my relative Arlie Conrad. It's been a long road and this was the final step. It means a lot.

I would like to find her husband, John Sweet. He was born 1837 in Canada a son of Moses & Nancy Sweet. I don't know when or where he died. Any help you can give me would be appreciated. I have not been able to locate him since the 1870 census in Iowa with his first wife and the marriage record of him and Marietta in Iowa in 1884
