I am originally from the Vicksburg, Mississippi area. I also lived in Utica, Mississippi for quite a few years. I have lived in Grand Junction, Colorado since 1987. My husband and I were married in 1969 and moved out west in 1987. We have three children and two fantastic grandchildren and three wonderful step-grandchildren. I am very interested in genealogy. As a matter of fact, I am addicted to genealogy. My family research includes the sir names Heggins or Higgins from Mississippi and Texas areas, Jones from Mississippi, Adisano of New York and Cagle from the Mississippi area. Anyone having information, please don't hesitate to email me. |
If anyone sees any mistakes in my work, please don't hesitate to let me know so that I can correct it. Also, anyone having pictures, obituaries or any information they want added to a memorial, please send them to me and I'll be glad to add them. Thanks

Find A Grave Memorial# 32166235
This is listed as Arminta F Gross. She was the wife of George Gates Gross. The headstone pictured says GROSS, but the names are Walter and ??, and the date of 1886 to 1962. Arminta was married to George in 1887. Born 1863.
I'm not sure how this got attached to Arminta, but I can't find any other marriages to a "Gross" except George. Could you please look into this ASAP, so it is not used as Arminta's death info. I do not have her death information at this time.
Dear Lady in Red,
I am hoping you are well. You always responded so quickly. I am sure that you are very busy and I do
appreciate all your help.
If you would like to consider transferring the memorials of Mary Gilbert 100053415 and her husband Samuel Gilbert 100053464 to my care I would be happy to add the obits.
If you are ill, I hope you are feeling better soon.
I have been sick for several weeks and know this will wait until you have time and perhaps feel better. I thank you again for all the work you have done for all of our families. Lynn

Your taking and uploading the photo to the memorial of my husband's gr great grandmother is much appreciated.
I would like to request your permission to use that photo (and any others that turn out to be of gravestones of our relatives) in my family tree on ancestry.com. Since the photographer holds a copyright for each photo, I always ask before putting a photo on another web site. I will, of course, put your Findagrave username as the photographer and the memorial's web site as the source.
Many thanks for considering my request,

"Thank you!" so much for the memorial transfer of Ival Lockwood. I am still learning how to navigate my way around on findagrave so if I goof up in any way, I always welcome any kind feedback!
Sincerely, Linda Lockwood
