Eleanor Morrison Lawson
RE: Hi Eleanor,
I live in a small town called Whitmire. If you made a triangle with Laurens, Union and Newberry, I would be in the center. I was born and spent my early years in Henderson Co, NC and then Laurens, SC. My mom and dad between them were related in some way to most of the early Henderson Co families. I have had quite a time trying to get a smidgeon of their families on Ancestry and Family Tree Maker for my descendants to have when I am no longer around. I started this journey in the 1980's. We possibly do have common relatives. Some of mine were even in Newberry Co. The Justus, Clelands, Thomas and others. The Lawsons and Cudds are my husbands and largely SC and some NC. I want to tell you again that I so much appreciate what you do to help others. I am 87 and have my feet on the proverbial banana peel.
Good luck with your work and God bless you.

Thank you both for all you do to help others through Find A Grave. You make it possible for the ones of us who, because of age and health, can no long visit cemeteries, to see the graves of our extended families. Were it not for people like you, I could not find the graves of all my extended family. I have been on my genealogy journey since the 1980's and am trying so very hard to get as much as I can on Ancestry and Family Tree Maker so that my descendants and others who are connected can see their heritage. I hope you do not mind my making copies of your photos of my extended family for my family files. I appreciate so much all you do for others. May God bless you both in your work, helping those of us who need your help. Thank you for taking care of the memorials that you do. That means a lot to those who you touch through this.

RE: RENNER'S
David,
Thank you for your reply. I want to thank you for all the work you and Barbara have done to connect this family. It means so much to me since my great grandmother was a Renner in Greene County.

Thomas Laxton Case
Hello: Could you please tell me the documentation proving John Capps Case is the son of Thomas Laxton Case and Sarah Israel? Our family has looked for evidence for decades and thought he was the son James Laxton Case and an Indian woman named Unaka. I am the great-great grandson of John Capps Case. Thank you!

West View Cemetery Sign
Hi, back in 2010 you placed a photo of a sign for West View Cemetery on the cemetery page for the West View Cemetery in Easley, (Pickens County) SC here:

http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&CRid=71630&CScntry=4&CSst=43&CScnty=2351&CSsr=41&

I just happened to notice it today, and recognized it as actually being for the cemetery in a different county (Oconee) in Walhalla, also called West View, where the photo there also shows the same sign:

http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&CRid=2220861&CScn=west+view&CScntry=4&CSst=43&

I don't think you have the ability to delete the posting, so I will ask Find A Grave to move the photo to the correct cemetery in Oconee County as that cemetery does not have a clear front-view photo of the sign yet, only the side view you see today.

Thanks, Karyn

Case/Blackwell
Hi Barbara - we are probably double cousins. My grandmother was a Case ( Sallie Frances) and my grandfather's grandmother was a Blackwell ( Elizabeth Blackwell King). I see you have both names in your family.
