We live in Southern Indiana, across the Ohio River from Louisville Kentucky. We have always been interested in all of the history that is in the old cemeteries around where we live. We are currently working to get memorials and pictures of all the veteran's buried in Floyd and Harrison counties in Indiana (I know this is going to take a long long time). We have family buried in the area, going back to the early 1800's. Surnames of some of our ancestor's are: Beaty, Byrn, Smith, Wright, Cash, Galloway and Shofner.|
If you find an error we have made on a memorial or want us to add information please contact us under "suggest a correction" on the memorial site.

Could you also add it to Raymond Von Vokel for their group burial at Zac Taylor?

Thank you for the kind transfer of Cyrus to my family. I have updated his memorial and linked with him parents. Would you happen to know if his wife, Rose is buried in Milltown Cemetery too?

First Thank you for all your work in Hopewell Cem. My husband has three generations there that we are aware of at this time. May I suggest that you correct s/o to d/o on Louisa J. Payton.

Jim and Kim,
I recently found a photo that you added on 11-19-2015 concerning the Boone family located at Old Goshen Cemetery. Thank you for posting this. It is wonderful. Samuel Boone (1736-1805) was my 5-Great Grandfather. Do you know who put this memorial stone up at Old Goshen?
Hello John and Kim,
May I have your permission to use the George Boone monument in my Ancestry.com family tree, with credit to you of course? My husband is a Boone descendant.
Thanks for considering,

|Michelle Adams||RE: Jenkins Cemetery|
Thanks so much. I am looking at google satellite images and I couldn't see it for the trees. I am working on making an updated list for the library and I had a grand idea to map them all. So far it is going pretty good. Have a few I can't locate.

Hi John and Kim,
I saw your picture of Jenkins Cemetery. I am trying to find its location and here on findagrave the GPS coordinates put it at St Joe Catholic Church. Is that where it is? Any help would be appreciated.

I was surprised but very pleased to see Michael's listing on Find A Grave. The only reason I know him is that I was the Navy Photographer on the USS Bennington that was requested to be at his autopsy. I remember his name and the accident that killed him, also that it happened 17 days before I got married.
