RE: Rich burials at Crow Lane Cemetery, Romford
From a friend who lives in Romford

"The only one I know of in Romford that is no longer there (or very little of it is there) is the old parochial burial ground behind the Coronation gardens where the Romford War Memorial is. Most of that area was cleared to make way for the gardens and building of the Town Hall. There is talk of getting rid of the rest of it as it is a haven for winos and junkies. There was supposedly a cemetery next to the Crown pub in front of B&Q / Tesco at Roneo Corner"

Charles Percival Moxham
The Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in South Kincumber (also called Kincumber South) is not the same as the Church of England Cemetery in Kincumber. However, Find a grave does not have the Church of England Cemetery listed as of today.

But I have a friend who lives in that area and have asked them if they would be willing to go out and see if they could take a photo of the cemetery sign, along with a photo of Charles' gravesite as well as any others out there.

I will let you know.

Best,
Janet

RE: Rich burials at Crow Lane Cemetery, Romford
Crow Lane opened in 1871 and the only one buried there from that family list is George buried in grave 1947 on the 11th April 1887, with his wife Sophia buried 13th October 1898.

Charles Percival Moxham
Hi Mary Ann,

I recently visited the South Kincumber Cemetery (located next to Holy Cross Catholic Church) and I actually got a copy of all the people buried there.

Charles Percival Moxham's name was not listed anywhere in the list. Therefore I believe he is probably not buried there.

There is another cemetery in Kincumber and perhaps he is buried there...?

Best,
Janet

RE: Goulden family
Delighted to see how they fit into the family tree! Now I will have to start looking out for Tomllns and Lepines. (Lots of French, presumably Huguenot, names in Holy Cross, as well as a few other churchyards at that end of Canterbury.) Best wishes, SW.
