I have been updating Tracy Elliot Hazen's 1947 genealogy, "The Hazen Family in America", since 1978. My database contains more than 47,000 people. I welcome any information about Hazens and their close relatives.
If you wish to contact me, **please** use the e-mail link and not the "public message"! Otherwise, it will be impossible for me to associate your comment with the correct person. At age nearly 87, I cannot afford to waste time looking up absent links.
Because of age-related hip and knee pain, photographing is no longer practicable. Thank you for your understanding.
All Memorials by Me Stan, Why do you want Find a Grave to transfer all my memorials to you? I have worked hard on most of them to preserve the names of our ancestors. Please email me with more info. Thanks, Robert Robertawalt&yahoo.com
We just got in from Arizona today. I will go up to the cemetery office tomorrow and get what information they have on both of them and then send that to you.
They are your family. Do you want me to transfer ownership over to you to make whatever changes you like? I can then just send to you what i find out.
I live near Lakeside Cemetery and got a photo request four years ago. At the time there were 100 gravestones put into the Lakeside Cemetery site. I decided that instead of going around and fulfilling photo requests, I would take it upon myself to photograph and document this entire cemetery. I have now finished the entire cemetery except for a small section for Soldiers in Valor and the two mausoleums. I am hoping to have everything done this summer. So needless to say, none of the people buried here are my family and I am always pleased to pass them on to others. Just let me know.
Marie Thompson I think that there may be a mix-up here in names. You are looking for Marie E. Thompson but the one buried in St. Mary's Cemetery in Menasha, WI is Marie C. Thompson & according to Ancestry.com, her maiden name was DORNBROOK. She married Gaylord Thompson in 1951 in Menasha, WI. Please re-check your records.
According not only to the marker, but to Greenwood files compiled then compared with markers and discrepancies noted, in "Greenwood Cemetery, Orlando, Florida, Volume 2: Section K-W, compiled and edited by Betty Jo Stockton for the Central Florida Genealogical Society, October 2002", Two spaces in plot N78 were purchased August 5, 1946 by Joyce Hazen McElroy. The death dates for Mr. and Mrs. Hazen are in that book, page N15. The funeral home used by both was Fairchild.
J.H. Long purchased 3 spaces in N78 also on August 5, 1946. Buried there are Dorothy Hazen Long (Carey Hand Funeral Home), Alice C Hazen (Fairchild) and Muson W Hazen (Fairchild). This information is on pages N14-N15. All three provide only a birth year, but full dates for DOD.
Joseph Hazen Memorial# 95728046 I have rewritten Joseph Hazen's bio. I have left the bottom portion as is since its submitted as a quote. The webpage is included. I hope his current bio is a little clearer.
