Thank you very much for taking the time to enter such wonderful information on this patriot. He is my 8th great grand uncle. The facts you posted make it possible for me to follow up on the documentation. I appreciate your commitment.
|Dottie Meadows||Adam Crum|
I am wondering where you obtained all the information regarding Adam? He was my 4th great grandfather. Thank you.
|Barbara Howard Pointer||Terria McSwain|
Do you happen to know where Terria is buried?
|Ancestral Sleuth||Captain Thomas Lofton|
Thank you so much for the bio on Captain Lofton. It is much appreciated!
Are you interested in taking over his memorial or just keeping history alive?
Let me know either way.

Vonnie. I am descended from William Erwin Scruggs, Drury Dobbins Scruggs I, Drury Dobbins Scruggs II, Richard Scruggs II, and Richard Scruggs I. Would you be willing to share your DAR application on Patriot Richard Scruggs, so that I may attempt to prove my ancestry from the Revolutionary ancestor, Richard Scruggs? Thanks!

I also tend to think that if Mary Johnson was in Harmony there would be a marker for her. That cemetery has been photographed a few times in its entirety. The mother of Andrew Johnson would have a marker. Greeneville is famous for, and derives tourism, being the home of Andrew Johnson.

Very interesting that there is a memorial in Harmony Cemetery [downtown and the oldest cemetery] and also one in Andrew Johnson Nat'l cemetery for Mary Johnson. I would bet my bottom dollar she is in Andrew Johnson Cemetery as that black fence in the photo is at the top of the hill next to Andrew Johnson. Makes sense to me. I'll see what I can do about getting the other memorial deleted. Thank you!

Vonnie Cantrell (a volunteer) produced photos for me the day after I made the request. Thanks Vonnie, I really appreciate you kindness.

Thank you for creating this memorial site for my third great grandfather. One question I have is the year of his birth as 1760. It has been 200 years now since John Harris died at his home in western Kentucky near Bowling Green.
