Yes it is to bad on the stone. Maybe if it was one that was standing up it would be better to read. Thats another reason why its important that we do photos and document these stones as soon as we can.

Hi Michael. I went out and took some photos of Elizabeth's stone. The letters are really faint so I did the best that I could. I do photos with a pretty good camera so what I took is probable the best that you will get from the stone.

You're very welcome. Beard cemetery is located down a farm road, and nestled back in the woods. It's beautiful and heart wrenching at the same time. Most of the stones are missing, and many of the ones that remain are broken or badly weathered. I was happy to see his still intact and legible.

Sorry the stone is so degraded. I couldn't find most of the stones that were requested by find-a-grave but a lot of the stones in the cemetery are not readable. I

Thank for checking out the Kerns Cemetary in Critton Hollow. From what I understand is most of the graves there are unmarked, or marked only by a field stone or slate rock.
When a member has messages blocked, you can contact that member by clicking on NY of their active memorials and leaving a message that way. It is actually extremely simple and effective.
