My name is Arleta. Married 46 years, 4 children, 12 grand-children; we became great-grandparents in 2010, with four more in 2013-2015 (and I'm so young!). Life is exciting to say the least.|
We love the Lord Jesus, believe in salvation by grace, and in the power of prayer. "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:13
8th great-granddaughter of Godfrey I and Mary Ragsdale who died 371 years ago on April 18, 1644.
I have been doing genealogy since the early '70s when it meant going to those dusty ol' archives in court house basements. Now most information is only a click away and way easier to connect to a long lost cousin you didn't even know you had!
AND what a delight when we hear from friends & family from long ago that we shared genealogy goodies with.

I ask that you forgive me for not being faithful in flowering your loved ones, we are having terrible computer and Internet problems and are not in a position to upgrade right now. I will do my best, but ten hours to do two hours worth is quite trying on my patience. Thanks for understanding.
Have a truly blessed day!

I am William M. Walsh's daughter-in-law. I saw your info for him on Findagrave and wanted to let you know that his body was recovered about a month after his death. There is another memorial to him and the rest of his aircrew as well as to the crew members of 2 other Constellation NORAD planes that went down over a 2 year period in the 1960's. It is located at Tinker AFB in Oklahoma City. That is the current home base of the program is a decendant of NORAD.
Bill is buried in Putnam, CT. His wife (who has since remarried) brought his body home to be buried with her family.
Bill left 5 young children behind, the oldest of which was my husband, James P. Walsh, who was almost 9 years old at the time. The youngest child was only 6 months old.
This truly was a tragedy. Thanks so much for keeping this information for the world!
