Laurie Richards Rose, Thank you so much for sponsoring my sister-in-law's memorial. That is so kind and thoughtful of you. My husband extends his appreciation also. Laurie was his brother's wife. Blessings to you and yours, Mary Richards
I just saw that you have added a picture of my mother in law, Rose Markham. I love that picture. I am wondering if I could find out how you are related. I have been working on the family tree and I love to find new relatives. I am married to Rose and Bob's son Jerry.
If you would be interested in contacting me my email is email@example.com
RE: Re: New York Research Rose I was doing a little looking and we may have a family connection. It is a strong MAY... I am also researching a Nicholas Keller from the Canajoharie area, which so far I have not found the proof if he is connected to my Keller's yet it is a long story. But I noticed that your Rose Etta Dingman's mother is Elizabeth Van Etta.
I searching Nicholas Keller I found his will in which he died in Canajoharie in 1845. In his will he states that he is leaving stuff to heirs of two of his daughters that died before 1845, a Julia and Eva. In the will he states that both of them were married to Lewis Van Etta. This means that both Julia Keller and Eva Keller who were married to Lewis Van Etta had children with him and Nicholas was leaving their mother's portions to them. I noticed in searching for family trees on Ancestry that your Elizabeth Van Etta had a brother Lewis Van Etta. He would be of the right age to have been married twice before being married to the Mary in 1847 listed in the trees. Also both Nicholas's daughters died before 1845, so he could have been married to both of them before being married to Mary.
