Hello,
My name is John and my family lines are Lawler, Whitehead, Singletary & Tatum. My family and I our currently working on Myrtle Hill and Garden of Memories in Tampa, Florida. We are walking the entire two cemeteries looking to fulfill all the requests without the help of the office. It seems to be going well and alot faster than waiting on a phone call back with plot locations. If you have requests for these two cemeteries be patient someone is looking for them.

My pics may be used for any not for profit geneology sites. Just please give credit where credit is do. Thank you

Update: On Sept.3rd 2012 I suffered a stroke and have been sidelined. It has been a year of hard work and determination, but I have regained over 95% of my right side back. Still working on the 40 years of strength and that will come with more time. I will be working on all the back log of suggestions, transfers and requests made. Sorry for the delays, John

RE: Bell Family
Thank you so much. This is the first time I have seen my Grandmothers name written on anything. Forest was her son. I just don't understand where my Grandfather is buried as he died one year before
her. However I have heard there was a cemetery in Jackson Heights where my Mother's baby was buried. in 1925, and that cemetery had a road built over it, so it is possible my grandfather was buried there. but again Thank you so much. I hope you are still doing well.. pg

Thank you so much for creating and adding this memorial. Is she a relative? I am trying to establish whether she was Maudie Devaney Fisher. Thanks for any info you can add.

RE: Lorie Lee Gainey.
Thank you so much for your reply. My Grandparents are David Richard Bell died 1930 or 31 & Laura A Bell died 1931. I do not know if they were buried close together or not, they had a son named Forest who could be buried close by.
Thanks.
I see there is Bell in your name, is that a middle name? I was born & raised in Tampa.

Lorie Lee Gainey.
Thank you so much for the photo of our daughter.
I am so sorry about your stroke. I hope you are doing better at this time.
We live in North Carolina and it was so nice to be able to see a picture of the marker for our baby girl.
I have recently finished a family tree on ancestry.com and found my Grandparents head stones in Myrtle Hill. If you are ever able to search graves again I will send you their names.
Again thank you so much and wish you the best.

John

I am glad to hear you are doing so well, we are all great here. I linked Thomas to his parents I don't know why I hadn't done it before.

Stroke must be a Lawler thing my father and his father both had a stroke, my father's father died form it, my dad is doing great.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Cemetery Photos
I have been a member of the Find-a-Grave website for about one year. I have been frustrated by the lack of plot maps available for the smaller cemeteries in Hillsborough County, Florida. I am thinking about creating a website that would contain this information and headstone pictures. It sounds like you have already done a lot of this yourself. Are you planning to put your pictures online? If not, would you be willing to share them with me so I don't have to re-invent the wheel? This would not be part of any commercial venture, I would share the site with you prior to public posting, and I would give you credit for the information you provide. Hoping to hear from you. Many thanks for your consideration,.

RE: Lawler's of Shiloh Cemetery
I will add and link any information to the memorials I maintain. Just use the edit tab on each memorial to give me the details. The new photos for Leonard and Frances Lamberson were great....so sad the top is now broken from the base.
