I have been researching for 30 years. I am a descendant of Matthew (Mathias) Irons who came to the MBC in 1630 on the Winthrop Fleet. The family moved to Rhode Island with Roger Williams then to Nova Scotia, back to Rhode Island with the outbreak of the Revolutionary War, then to Rochester, NY and on to western Illinois in 1830. I am also researching Kendrick, Booth, Hefley, Barbee, Minnich, O'Neal, Carroll and Randall,
