Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am interested in the family history of my family & my husband's family.(I am originally from Adams,MN & he is from Hayfield, MN) We now live in New Ulm. Some family names are Hemingway, Lee, Hagen, Peterson,Aarhus, Gordon, Huseby,Torgerson,Lewison, Anderson, Johnson, Share

I first became interested in family history when I took a women's study class entitled "Our Foremothers". One assignment was to do an oral history with an older relative. Hearing the stories that my mom, my grandma & my husband's grandma had to share was priceless. The past became alive and names & dates became real people. I think my quest is bringing these stories and people to the younger generations that we will not lose this connection...and that our foremothers and forefathers will not be forgotten.

RE: Leona Thune
You are welcome. When the surrounding stones are of the same type I am guessing they are related even if the last names don't match. Glad I could help.

Kelley - Bellevue Cemetery, Aylmer, QC
If you have not already done so you may check the following site for the Kelley headstones at Bellevue:
http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~cangmg/quebec/gatineau/aylmer/bellevue/index.htm
The four-sided headstone for the Kelleys does not appear here but there is one for the infant you mention. The site indicates that the photos show all the headstones in this cemetery, not sure why your's is not shown. Best of luck, Bruce

Thank you for taking and uploading the pictures for their memorials. Your time and effort is appreciated. From your pictures it looks extremely dry for this time of year, drought perhaps.

RE: Christan Stell
Thought you were referring to burials in the Stell family cemetery. There is a Christian Stell and an Anna Stell. Perhaps those were children of the Christian Stell buried at Trinity.

We enjoyed driving out to Trinity. The snow had just melted and it felt like the beginning of Spring.

RE: Christan Stell Gravestone Photo
Don't think I was the one to take photos at Stell Cemetery (near Gaylord), but believe I filled one of your other requests.
