I am retired and live in the Texas Panhandle. I have been putting bio's and flowers on memorials for over six years, and when I couldn't find my grandparents, I decided I would add Memorials and put a voice to my families, I don't want them to be forgotten.|
This is a picture of my parents, they were Helen Elaine Lott and Steve William Lanning, they were born in 1918.

Can you ask the person managing Bev's records for a transfer? Then you can combine the two records.
Thanks for the note.
|NL Nuttall||2 Robert Campbells|
Hi, I did some further checking. The Robert Campbell you're after
was in Dublin Twp., Fulton Co., PA 1850; 1860; and 1870. This
borders on Metal Twp. Franklin Co., PA, where Fannettsburg is
located. Some of the family charts for this Robert Campbell at
ancestry.com indicate his middle name was Vincent. From these
sources, and censuses, I've been able to determine the names
of six children he had by Mary Jones and three by Jane Ramsey.
None of their names correspond with the children of Robert and
Jane (Linn) Campbell. In 1860 this Robert Campbell's occupation
was Justice of the Peace.
In 1870 Robert Campbell, who married Jane Linn, was in Fannett
Twp., Franklin Co., PA., which lies north of Metal Twp.., with his
2nd wife Margaret. He was probably in the area around Concord,
about 16 or 17 miles, or more, northeast of Fannettsburg. He is
also in the same area in the 1880 census.
Both of these Robert Campbells were born ca.1796 or 1797, with
the one in Fulton Co. being apparently slightly older.
I hope this helps clear up some of the confusion.

It is quite clear that you have mistaken my Find a Grave entry for Robert Campbell, who married my 5 greats grandfather's sister
Jane Linn, for an entirely different person. The Robert and Jane
(Linn) Campbell family, including the children, whom I've entered
or had connected, can be found documented in "A History of a Fragment of the Clan Linn", by Dr.George Wilds Linn, (pub.1905), and in more recent genealogies published on the family. There is
no mention in these histories of Jane (Linn) Campbell's husband
ever being a Judge, and they married in 1818. Jane's sister Sarah
married Samuel Campbell, who may have been Robert's brother,
but I know nothing about either of these two Campbells' parents.
So it's possible that both might have been distantly related to the
Are any of the children whom George Wild Linn listed for Robert
and Jane (Linn) Campbell found elsewhere listed as children of
Judge Robert Campbell and either of his wives? Dr.Linn's history
includes a long list of the then current residences, (ca.1904), of
Robert and Jane's descendants, many of whom he was evidently
in correspondence with. Since these included grandchildren, and
even a daughter of Robert and Jane still living c.1905, it would be quite surprising if any of them were actually the children or grandchildren of the Judge and unaware of that fact.

Just curious if you're a descendant of Ike Clayton. I saw you placed a comment on his page. He's my 3rd great-grandfather and I'd like to connect to his other descendants.
|John Hughes||Woody cont'd|
The I was provided had a '3' in the description which could have corresponded to Lot 149C.
In about 149G/H, I found Dr. Worth W. Woody, Sr. (1881-1953), #118491173 and Agnes Cameron Woody, (1886-1980), #118491418. If they are, relatives and husband/wife, let me know and I'll link and, if you'd like, I will transfer.
|John Hughes||Woody Markers|
I added photos for Johnnie and Eula Woody who are, as you suggested, buried alongside each other. They are in Acacia Lawn, Lot 149 - please add the location to the memorial and change Eula's burial to Restland.
Lot 149 is actually a series of lots labeled 149A through 149M. I
|John Hughes||Eula Woody|
I was able to get the location for Johnnie Woody . . . I did find a marker for Eula alongside. So she is buried in Restland alongside her husband. I will post the photos a bit later. Also, found two other Woodys nearby. I'll add them as well and give you the memorial numbers.
|John Hughes||RE: John Woody|
Thanks for getting back. Next week is fine, of course. Don't know the exact hours but the Restland office is open on Saturday and Sunday. They react very quickly to requests from family.
|John Hughes||John Woody|
A burial location is needed to fill your photo request. The Restland office now provides locations ONLY to family members. Please call them at (972) 238-7111 and they will be glad to help you. Normally they will look up the location while you wait.
Alternatively, you could email via their website: www.restlandfuneralhome.com. Click on the "Contact Us" tab. In the "I am contacting you because:" box, click on "Other".
I (or another volunteer) will be honored to fulfill your request, typically within a day or two. If you created the memorial and prefer to edit the memorial to show the plot location, that would be fine as I check the Restland photo requests regularly as do other volunteers.
Thanks for your assistance.
