I am a genealogy geek too! No surprise there! I love helping others and never mind transferring management of an acct or editing info. If I own an acct or even manage one don't be afraid to ask if you want it. Sometimes I suggest a date addition or something after taking the photo and people will transfer management of the acct to me to edit even though I am of no relation, so I am always happy to send to a family member to manage.|
***I have recently taken management of a few inactive acct creators accts in order to make edits and links as I photo survey entire cemeteries. I am happy to edit info or transfer to family members. I have not accepted all their accts just select cemeteries as I photo them.
Feel free to visit my dad's page & leave a flower Find A Grave 43914016
***sometimes when I post a picture from my I-pad while there at the cemetery, it posts sideways but will appear upright for me. Please let me know if I miss this so I can repost the picture. Thanks.

Thanks a million! Sometimes obituaries can be hard to find and are often a treasure trove of information. I have a "last things" notebook for my wife and it includes a draft of my obituary (with blanks for the dates, etc.).
Keep on ansearchin!

Maria, You know I don't usually ask this, but can you remove the pictures that do not have his dod so that I can post mine. Was out there today and noticed that they now have a dod. Thanks
|Donald Ward||RE: Ms. Inez King Bolding|
I really appreciate your feedback. However, I am in something of a quandary. I found online a copy of "Descendants of Drury King" by Willa Dean King Brown which states that Emmer Inez (King) Bolding died 12 Sep 1996 of cancer. So far I have not been able to locate a death certificate or an obituary to back that up. Inez would be almost 103 by now. That's possible, but statistically unlikely. What source do you have stating that she is still alive?

"Mock pictures" of unmarked graves are not allowed. Quote FAQ #160:
Can I post a photo containing the text "unmarked grave" or post a generic image of a grave to represent an unmarked grave?
No. Please record that information in the Note and/or Plot section of the memorial page. If you are a photo volunteer please inform the submitter of the memorial that there is not a marker so that they can add that information. This prevents volunteers from duplicating efforts in locating a stone.
And I interject "especially adding such photo's to memorials you do not own".
Please remove this "mock marker" picture. You can re-add it by selecting the "OTHER" option under the "Add a Photo" button. There has been cases where the actual marker was found after it was reported there was none. Also when a contributor is searching for their family, and finds a memorial in the search that shows there is "Marker Photo", there is nothing more disheartening then to find a picture such as what you have added.
If you have added this image to other memorials, especially memorials you did not create, you either need to remove them or remove and re-add as requested above. It is not up to the other contributors to find these "mock photos" for you. Admin will remove them, by removing ALL photos you have added. So it is better, even if you added a thousand of these pictures, for you to hunt and remove them yourself.
Thank you for your cooperation.

Thank you for your kind words!! These two Pilgrims Rest cemetery books have been labors of love for eight years. Hopefully the publications will be helpful for family research. Nancy

Thank you so much for taking the time to photograph headstones for William Rhodes, He was a brother to my great great grandmother, I did not know he was a CSA soldier. Wow!

Thank you so much for researching and confirming Cissa's burial in this cemetery. Without a tombstone to photograph, we appreciate you taking the time to add a confirmation photo. Thank you!
