Several of my family members and other volunteers are working toward posting pictures of all the tombstones in Etowah Co., Alabama. Please fill free to copy these pictures and use them for your personal research and other family history related projects. Our goal is to make it easier for you to find the necessary records you need when compiling your family histories.
Some additional information has been added from family records and other sources, such as "Public Member Trees" on Ancestry.com, and may need to be further verified before use.

Have you ever had one of those days?!? I was looking at the wrong notes. It looks like the parents for Robert is correct. Sorry about these crazy messages. :)

Luella Roberts and William Pinkney Roberts
Thank you for all you do. I just wanted to let you know that Luella Roberts maiden name is Hill. She is married to William Pinkney Roberts. Her parents are William Jasper Hill and Catherine Monroe Smith. Based on my research, I don't believe the parents listed for William Pinkney Roberts is correct. I believe they are William B. Roberts and Elizabeth Willingham. Pinkney also named a son, William B. Roberts, after his own Dad. I would be happy to share my research with you if it contradicts your sources. Thank you again for all you do.

William Hubbard at Howelton Cemetery
Johnny do you remember a Hubbard in this cemetery(not the Methodist church). I know I found his parents and wife in the Aurora cemetery. I can not find a stone for him. I know he died in Ga, but seems odd that parents and wife are in a different cemetery close by. There is room for him to be next to his wife in Aurora....just don't have enough information.

Thank you!
Thank you for all the links you did for me. It really brings the family members together and perhaps it may be helpful to a new researcher.

Much appreciation,
Nancy
