I'm the great grand son of Walter Herbert Kendrick. I've been doing Genealogy for about 5Oth. years. The photo left is the begin of my Family History Researching. I'm with my grandmothers. I'm in the process of writing the Kendrick Family History, and have about 9 Generations done.|
They lived in Cape Cod, and Plymouth, Ma., and also Nova Scotia. And I'm willing to take additions, and correction.
I'm also writing the Family History of Oswalt family, and I have about 8 Genearation done. It is my wife Family. They have been having the Oswalt Family Reunion, for 74 years, since 1938, on every third Sunday of July. At the Grange Park in Sanborn, Clearfield Co., Pa. AND NEXT YEAR WILL BE THEIR 75 YEAR !!! They also have replace, and place several gravestones for their relatives, and others. We are working on adding a gravestone for William Henry Merritt in the Old Clearfield Cemetery, in CLEARFIELD, Pa., He never had one.
Let me known if there any corrections, and if there is any Transfer need. I'm related to most of them.

|Sandra Lennox||RE: added information|
I think you are very good with the memorials
you enter. Sometimes I may send you additional
information but it is up to you if you want to
use it or not, just trying to help out.
Please send me a little more information on Mercy Fuller (Nickerson) Kendrick. I will see what I
can do here in Plymouth. I do think a new Nickerson
genealogy book is coming out or already came out.
Did you ever hear of the Nickerson family association in Chatham, Mass.? If records cannot
be found in Plymouth they may be able to help out.
Did you receive an e-mail from me with attachments?

I went back down to the cemetery the other day while I was in the area. All the pictures I took were just as dark as that one. The darkness is caused by both this stone being under a tree and the stone itself has that black mildew on it. I didn't have anything to try and clean the mildew. Next time I find myself in the area I will go back to the grave yard and get it taken again.

I appreciate your research you have done on the Kendricks' and decided to turn them over to you. One request, will you please leave my
g-grandmother's name on the pages for transcribing her bible records, Emma Hammond Whiting.
Thank you and good luck to you!
Sincerely, Barbara K

|Sandra Lennox||RE: Oliver Shurtleff|
Yes all the smaller stones are individual markers
for the people on the monument.
When I do a memorial that has a monument with
inscriptions on more than one side, I like to
add the gravestone transcription to the memorial with the information that is on all sides of the
memorial. That way people can see the family
connection. There is a close up photo on Oliver's
memorial of his name on the memorial. Also a photo
of his individual marker which has the name
"Ollie" on it, probably his nickname.
The person who done the memorial is Anne Shurtleff
Stevens, she lives in California. The list that
she has only has the individual names of the people buried at Central Cemetery, Plymouth, Carver, Mass., so she wouldn't know that several of them are on the same monument. You would have
to see the monument to know.
I have been going to Central cemetery quite often to take photos. If you want me to do any documentation, etc., let me know. It will not be a problem. Are you descended from the Shurtleffs?
Take Care, Sandy
|Sandra Lennox||Guy V. Small|
What happened to your Guy Valentine Small memorial?
I had taken photos of the gravestone at Central
Cemetery, Carver, Plymouth, Mass. and added them
to the memorial.
You were not sure which cemetery Guy was buried
in so you had it under burial unknown. I sent you
an edit letting you know which cemetery Guy was in
and now I can't find the memorial! Did you delete it?
|Sandra Lennox||Annie Green (Peckham) Shurtleff|
Thank you for your response.
On Oliver Shurtleff's obit his wife Annie Green
(Peckham) Shurtleff is still alive so it does not
say that she is buried at Central Cemetery, Carver,
Plymouth, Mass. There is no documentation of her having a gravestone there or at any of the
cemeteries in Carver.
However I do agree with you that she is probably
buried there. Maybe her gravestone is missing or
perhaps she never had one.
Do you think you could add to her memorial that
a gravestone was not found, but she is probably
buried near her husband? That will eliminate
photo requests for a gravestone photo.
Have a good night,
