Re: Transfer request (s)
Dear Cynthia Margaret Kaley,

I hope this works better now.
As per your request : Thank you.

Vermont is a wonderful State, Massachusetts also, Bellows Falls, Vt. a section of Rockingham ,and that area has been home to my direct kin for generations now. The Campbells and Howlands .
You may know of Mrs.Henrietta Howland "Hetty" Green. She, my direct kin changed her faith from a Quaker to be buried with a Monument in Bellows Falls. As many of our families in New England are/were Quakers, Hetty wanted to be buried with her family in the Immanuel Church's cemetery in Bellows Falls. In 1910 she was baptized at the Holy Cross Episcopal Church in Jersey City, Hudson County, New Jersey so she could be buried as she wished.

Her only daughter,Sylvia married Matthew Wilks, great-grandson of John Jacob Astor:in Morris County, New Jersey she was in her late thirties, he was 63.Sylvia gave the Green family home in Bellows Falls to the Town. The site of the Green home at the corner of Church and Westminster Streets in Bellows Falls is now occupied by a bank ( sorry I forget the Banks name, a municipal parking lot and Hetty Green Park.Rockingham Memorial Hospital, built with money donated by Sylvia, became the Health Center at Bellows Falls.

Did you read: October, 1998 edition of American Heritage Magazine? In 1976 Malcolm Forbes too it over.

My direct kin gave the clock to Bellows Falls too. No it was one of our Campbell's.

On the Transfers I have clicked the EDIT Tabs before to add DATA. But I saw nothing yet . So may I help you, my families and my self by adding DATA ?

Please transfer at least :

My Great Grandmother:
Mrs. Julia A. Hall Campbell, 21799722
My Great Grandfather:
Dr. Daniel Campbell, 21799721

Mrs. Carrie E. Deavitt Campbell, 21799860
Edward Raymond Campbell, 21799859

Thank you!

Levi Todd #18896086
I am sorry to keep bothering you about this. This particular Todd is buried in New Hampshire. The family he keeps being connected to is from Kentucky/Indiana. His page says the inscription on his tombstone says the son of Levi and Nancy. The father he is currently connected to is not his nor are the listed siblings his. The Levi Luther Todd listed as his father is from the Kentucky Todds and his wife was Sarah Ashby. He moved to Indiana where he was a lawyer and jurist. He did have a son Levi. This Levi became a doctor and practiced and taught medicine in Indiana. He is Dr. Levi Luther Todd and he is buried in the Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis. Over the years, family members donated Todd papers to the University of Indiana. The family history is well documented. There is no direct connection from the Indiana Todds to New Hamsphire. These Todds went from Virginia to Kentucky to Indiana.
Thank you for your help.
Margaretta Bir - great, great grandaughter of Levi Luther Todd

Rebeca Porter Chapin
Hi Cynthia thanks for your work on Find a Grave. I hope your health is improving.

I have a question about your memorial for Rebeca Porter Chapin # 21747412 in Maplehurst Cemetery in guilford, Vt.

I'm researching a Rebeca Porter and I thought she was married to Solomon Chapin but I have different Parents for the one I'm looking for. Can you tell me the sources for your Rebecca. You have Jonathan Porter (1713-1790) and Sarah Ladd Porter (1713-1806) as her parents.

I have Nathan Porter (1742-1815) and Susannah West (1756-1840)as her parents.

I have her born about 1776, Solomon is born 1767-1822). These births are about 50-60 years after Jonathan and Sarah were born. Kind of old to have a daughter.

I'm planning a trip to Vermont the end of next month and I"m trying to figure out my ancestors before I go. Do you have sources for your parents for Rebeca Porter??? Thank you for you time!!!
