Started out looking for info on family, then Find A Grave became a hobby. Family names I would love any information on: Batten (Arkansas), Wyse (Arkansas), Ramer (Arkasas), Kontogianis (Greece), Droste (Napa, CA & Germany), English (England), and Houser (unknown location). A huntin' we will go!|
UPDATE: Due to numerous rude, insensitive requests to transfer or delete entries I'd like to suggest to those who have not read the rules for this site to do so before asking for things.

|S.R.F.||Sgt. Andre J Adams- Union soldier POW|
I found him! His memorial # is 78877061. The text says he was buried at Greenlawn Cemetery (a Confederate Cemetery?) and was re-interred in 1933 at Crown Hill Confederate section. I thought he was a Union soldier kept in a Confederate POW prison, but maybe I have that backwards? It says he died 05 Mar 1865, but gives no birth date.
My great-grand aunt, Emeline Ward, married an Andrew J Adams in Oct 1863. Later, she married a Rev. William Williams, and they lived in Missouri. I was wondering if her first husband was lost in the Civil War.
The contributor for this memorial is "In Loving Memory of My Son, Gary". Her # is 46547937. But her messages are disabled, so I cannot contact her. Your name was under all the photos posted to this memorial.
Thank you for your help.

I haven't gone back to find the record. I should have saved it when I saw it, but I wasn't sure it was the right person. I did try to re-locate it, but I wasn't successful. And then, I forgot about it. Back to the drawing board! Sorry! S.R.F.

I am looking for an Andrew Adams who married my second great-grand aunt, Emeline Ward, in White County, Indiana, in 1863. I wondered if this soldier might be him? She remarried to a Reverend Williams and lived in Missouri by the 1880 Census.
Is there any way to know?

I was doing some photos of the McPhails in Row 6 lot 66 and in that same lot was a Pejades M. Kelly and Irene Frances Kelly. I was wondering if they were related to the McPhails and in doing my best to investigate it appears that they may be related to Thomas Kelly who you have in the Benicia City Cemetery. Will advise if I find more evidence....jim
