My family and I enjoy researching our family history. We've found findagrave.com to be very helpful. If you have something to add to any of my postings, please contact me. I have, and encourage, a liberal transfer policy. If you are related and I'm not, a transfer is in order. Feel free to use any of my photos.
Principle areas of research are Blinston(e), Hope, Connolly, Kasich, Hardin, Cornwall, Messinger, McCaleb/McKillop, Edwards, Wooton/Wooten, Willard.
Findagrave.com has become a mainstay of my family history research. Thanks to all my fellow findagraver's out there for the fabulous work you do. We all benefit from each other's work.
If you want changes made to a memorial I manage or are requesting a transfer, please use the edit tab on the individual's page in the upper right corner.
Loren D. Fields Could you please transfer ownership of this person to me, Loren's son is my fiance, Robert L. Fields. Thanks alot, I do most of the genealogy for Bob as I have done many trees for other friends and family. thanks for your time.
Maurice Morris...4x gr grandfather! Hello Jim, maybe of interest to you. Have just been to Dunmore to take photos of the MORRIS gravestone...wasn't aware of Find A Grave...a great thing! Have a new found cousin through my Gough family research and decided to look up the other side of her family.
If I have done my work properly, MAURICE MORRIS is her 4 x gr grandfather. Here's how I see it... MAURICE + MARY POTTLE's daughter CATHERINE b.1816 married JOHN MURPHY. Their son MAURICE MURPHY b. 1840, married CATHERINE WALSH. Their daughter BRIDGET MURPHY b.1865, married THOMAS GOUGH (my grgrandfather's brother). Their son EDWARD GOUGH b. 1899, married ALICE WALLACE. Their daughter HELEN GOUGH, died 2008, is my cousins mother.
The MURPHY family worked as Blacksmiths.
If you've been doing family research maybe some ofthese names are familiar to you? Many Regards
Federico Vialpando Thanks for catching the dupe. International Wargraves had a problem with the 2000/2001/2002 upload where they put vets in the wrong cemeteries. They are working on fixing it, but in the meantime the memorials have been re-created in the correct cemeteries. They are supposed to run a utility that finds and merges them, but this has been spotty at best.
Philip George Weber Thanks, first, for adding him to Find A Grave, with a picture, and then for transferring him to me. I now have my great-grandmother's whole family in my care; I just need to get busy and add Bios for all of them.
