|Cathy Mowrey Bingaman||Angeline Mowrey|
Hi Gary, its me, Cathy Mowrey Bingaman from Ocean Shores, remember? Well, my brother Dan and I have been going crazy with a very unusual issue in which Angeline Mowrey has popped up. We actually found her unmarked grave in the SLC Pioneer cemetery along with another we have been trying to track down. She is listed here in the Paris cemetery which we've been too in our related search and she is not there as far as we can tell. Do you have some additional facts on this girl? She was apparently only 16 years old according to this post. Do you have anything on Harriet Tunis Rich by any chance??????

Hi- I took photos at Hillcrest today. I was looking for "Harvin" Hagen but found "Marvin", instead. Marvin has the right birth and death dates and is next to Queen Hagen.

Feel free to use the photos. I think Giles and Blue Valley are the same. There are some foundations of homes and building left but that is about it. I have several relatives buried there and that is why I took the photos.
Thanks for your note

You are very welcome. I have a close-up of Lee's side of the headstone. If you create a memorial, I will add that photo.
Have a great day.

If anyone would know what her name was, it would be one of her children. Here is her son's obituary:
Orville Hatch Swain Obituary
Orville Hatch Swain, 79, Lapoint, died July 4, 1988, at the Ashley Valley Medical Center, Vernal, after a long illness.
Here's the good stuff:
Orville was born Oct. 12, 1908, Vernal to Abner and Permilla Jane Hatch Swain.
He married Ora May Anderson June 14, 1933 in the Salt Lake Temple. He was a High Priest in the LDS church, serving in many positions. He spent he life farming in Lapoint. He loved gardening, always spending time outdoors with his garden and rockwork.
He served four terms as a Uintah County Commissioner, serving as chairman of the board for six out of eight years. He also served as president of the Whiterocks Irrigation Company. He had one goal in his mind, and that was to treat everyone equal, regardless of who or what party they belonged to, and keep on the straight and narrow line. Always anxious to serve and better the community, he was responsible for bringing paved roads to the west side of Uintah County.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ora May, August 14, 1987; a grandson, Rocky Shae Swain; two brothers, Harold (Doc) Swain and Bert Swain.
He is survived by children, Mrs. Marvin (Joleen) Ottosen, Woodland Park, Colo.; Orvin A Swain, Lapoint; G. Von (Marlene) Swain, Cedar City, and Mrs. George T.W. (LaRee) Miller, Roosevelt; 11 grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Mrs. Mildred Mowrey, Salt Lake; Mrs. Orpha Palmer, Pocatello, Idaho, Oren (Hank) Swain, Neola; Mrs. Jim (Genevieve) Schaefermeyer, Seward, Alaska, and Darold Swain, Denver.
Funeral Services were held Friday, July 8, at the Lapoint chapel, with interment in the Roosevelt cemetery, under direction of Olpin-Hullinger Mortuary.
